"I don’t recommend this hotel . First when we came staff at reception area are not helpful and like they are not happy to serve any guest. No one even welcome you.staff are rude even managers except of 2 employees try to help us.
We request for make up room and on the 2nd day we even left at 7am and no one clean the room, rubbish bins not emptied and toilet paper no refill. We stay there for 5 nights and only the last day they did vacuum as I went back again to reception and ask to vacuum the floors.
No towels at pool area, we have to go down to reception again to ask for towels.
I would say it was really terrible experience.
We stayed last year at Pullman/Mercure but I would say staying there is far better. With the price is the same from the time I book. I just want to try new hotel."
"Room was good, but the couch was stained. Great shower. Great reception staff.
Probably, the worst buffet breakfast and buffet staff. Ran out of bread, coffee machine not working, out of juices, no spoons, out of milk, out of butter it actually was funny (7th June) When I approached staff and asked about re-fill I was referred to three different people. Finally, I got hold of the manager and at least the bread for toast finally was fixed as was the coffee machine. Everything else...no. I told her it was the worst breakfast of all time and terribly managed.
As I travel frequently and stay in 5-star hotels this was a joke. Ice cream sticks for stirrers, PFD sugar sachets no mugs for tea just not even 3 stars come on people do better not that hard. Should be giving at least 2 free bottles of water in suites but had to pay $5.00.
Despite this I have the best curry puffs ever when I ordered room service absolutely delicious. A mix bag of good and bad in this very dated hotel."
"Staff were helpful, room okay did not request king bed asked for a double booking made through Expedia. Room right near the lift which I know someone has to have but not ideal. Had a small meal prior to 6 pm at the Collins restaurant which was fine, breakfast arrived 8.30 am seated quickly staff were good. The Meal which we had small spoon of baked beans, mushrooms, scrambled egg, bacon were nearly cold only hot item was the hash brown. Two coffees to follow were good, staff was very good. Very disappointed for $100 breakfast which was uneatable, not enjoyed, and not up to the standard one may expect. They became very busy a long queue a hand rail to ascend but no rail to leave, very dangerous. The front staff and the gentleman who organised our taxi very helpful, perhaps not the experience we were hoping for."
"When I made the booking, I specifically requested a room with two beds for 2 adults and 2 children. However, upon arrival, we discovered that we had been allocated two separate rooms under two different bookings, located at opposite ends of the building.
When we asked the Novotel staff to help us understand what had happened, we were told that we would need to contact Expedia directly, as the booking had been made through your platform. We were very disappointed that the hotel staff were unable to provide further assistance or help resolve the issue."
