"Beautiful Hotel with exceptional amenities"

"The Valet was extremely nice and so were the front desk staff. The rooms are very dated for this price point. There is no mini fridge, microwave and no ice machines on the floors. The bartenders were nice, but the breakfast was expensive and lackluster compared to what’s offered at other hotels. The dining area was empty and I think the teenagers who checked us in also made our food. Staff 5/5 location 5/5 amenities 1/5"

"Pretty clean property. The bathtub did not drain properly, standing water. The parking lot is very small, so they did not have parking for me my 1st night, but did have the remaining nights. The breakfast was average, nothing spectacular. I probably would choose another hotel if I return to the city of Birmingham, AL."

Upon arrival I was told that the room I booked had been given away and was given a double queen room instead of the king. "While the staff is nice, the owners don't care about the property or don't have the money to upkeep it. I'm not going to go into detail but almost not part of the hotel felt like it was worth the money. Until they have renovated, I would seriously consider staying elsewhere. Right across the street at the Hilton for the same price, I had a much better experience."
