A good stay
A pleasant stay at this hotel. Positioned in a good location so easy to get around everywhere. Staff are very friendly. The deluxe room wasn’t as described but staff were able to resolve issues quickly.

Best Hotel
Best location in the center. Walking distance to bars, restaurants , lounges , coffee shops. Staff were extremely nice and helpful . Lamea the front desk supervisor was professional , helpful and tried to make guest happy . Breakfast was very nice . I defiantly stay again - the only thing that they need to work on the housekeeping . They leave the dirty glasses and don’t leave coffee pads every day .

Rooms were good demanding more city tax on reception after lot of discussion with manager finally agreed on same price what hotel.com asked me to pay make sure u deal with them on day 1 Not very helpful reception staff, i asked them to book a taxi for airport-he said taxi will charge 250MD but i went outside hotel and taxi man said 100MD. he picked us up at 6AM so they try to steal you every penny when possible be careful

We loved this hotel. Great location, super modern. However the reservation system is very poor. We booked several rooms on two occasions and both times the reservations were not correct. The staff were great, the restaurant also but took well over an hour to get food. The hotel is not up to to standard on cleanliness. No toilet paper or towels. Maintenance also poor. Lights not working, blinds broken. This could be a super hotel but need proper management.

All the staff from the door man, receptionist, dining staff, room service, spa and housekeeping staff were all professional, friendly and hard working in their duties. The breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of fresh food and variety. The room was clean, great AC, quiet, and good location. I would definitely stay at the Bab Hotel again in the future.

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff are very helpful and professional. Nouhaila: one of the massage therapist is very nice, kind and professional. I enjoyed my relaxing massage received by Nouhaila. I would definitely stay at the Bar Hotel again.

Dishonest staff
Lobby, reception and pool area were nice and clean. However, the room, toilet and bathroom had quite a few broken floor and wall tiles. The balcony door had a broken handle so the door was open the whole night and noice didn't let us sleep much. This was fixed the next afternoon. Towels were getting less day by day in the bathroom. Upon check-out we were told about an outstanding restaurant bill, which we had already paid in cash. We were also asked to pay for two minibar items that we actually did not touch. Receptionist called the person who was attending the restaurant that day and he admitted he had taken the money and still billed us on the room... I wouldn't be surprised if room service used the minibar on our behalf.

Hotel is within walking distance to shopping areas and restaurants. parking is convenient (you have to pay the guy that watches the cars 24 hours. Good stay, banging Pina Coladas, a Riad next time?
Staff were friendly and accommodating! Clean rooms. However Spa and roof top was under construction.. In our rooms, the toilets were completely separate and on the other side from the shower and bath, I did not mind this. Rooms were spacious. Hotel is 5 minutes away from a mall.

The best was the bathroom n the bed but terrible toilet cracked floor bed corner dangerously sharp The worst was a extremely noisy demonstration against the hotel for all the week from 9am to 5pm I complained to the hotel manager Fatima and requested some compensation she offered that they can only offer 50%off when we return again Also the roof terrace was closed and so was the spa I will be grateful for a full refund for the hotel stay Hoping to hear from yourself soon

Nice hotel in a very good location.

It’s not soundproof at all. Windows and doors to street allow all sounds. Doors to hall u can hear everyone speaking and walking. Rooms were clean and had good features. Dining menu was ok not extensive. Very very central in gueliz only minutes walk to everything in gueliz. Did not need car.

No WiFi .. even after upgrading to a suite!
I had a lot of issues with the WiFi, although I payed extra to upgrade my room, I didn’t have WiFi the whole stay. It only worked in the lobby or connected to the hotel across the street and yet it was too poor to allow me to use it. After noumerous of times complaining, and telling me they will get on it...it was not fixed at all that I gave up and bought a SIM card to connect with my husband and kids back home. Will not be staying there again!

Good, but it could have been better.
The room was not what we thought we had booked. The staff told us that this was a deluxe room and take it or leave it. Not good value for money, the mattress also was too hard. There were only two working TV channels, not English speaking, which soon became too fuzzy. They repeatedly promised to fix it, but never did. There was no internet connection in the room and the last days not in the lobby either. It was noisy during the evening because a very good and famous restaurant was across the road. Some of the staff were very friendly and they sent a birthday cake to our room. There was no parking and we had to park the hired car in tight spaces and pay a different fee every day.

Had a lovely stay in this hotel. The rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated. Tue breakfast is very nice. Just be aware the WiFi is not great and you have no service in your room.

Great room, ok hotel
Room was great - clean, cosy, large, and they had gone above and beyond with our special request as well. One complaint though: the breakfast was not organised at all. Out of items quick (there were not even 10 people eating), lack of staff around to help, very small selection of food.

Would recommend staying in a hotel further away from Guilez, this is not a 4 or 5 star hotel I would class this as a mid 3 star hotel. Not great staff the pictures online are very deceiving.

Strange set up of the room.
Toilet was very small and had no water tap. Shower and sink were located on the other side of the room. That seems a bit strange. Other wise the room was tastefully decorated. Blinds were not properly setup so the sun would be on you early enough.

It was satisfactory, but could have been better. The hotel rooms were adequate and the staff were polite, however many of them did not understand English, so could not communicate with them.

Nice hotel, but could be a lot better
BAB Hotel was not quite what i expected. The decor is very contemporary, and a bit mismatched. Didnt make much sense to me. There is an indoor pool area next door to the reception. I never saw anyone using it. Its in the shade, and looks very cold. If you're looking to lounge by a pool for a week, this is not the hotel for you. We were greeted by a doorman and receptionist. Check in was very simple, and we were given a welcome drink. We booked the Senior Suite. Our room was exactly as shown in pictures. Very spacious with 2 balconies. Breakfast at this hotel is very limited. They serve the same food everyday, and definitely could do with some improving. Bab hotel, overall was ok. I would book again as the location was great, we had a mcdonalds at walking distance, and our room was perfect.

The plumbing could be improved
I booked for 2 nights. First night the room had unbearable bad smell from the plumbing. Water leaking from the bottom of basin to the floor. They sent in technician to check and I had to ask for some room incense to kill the smell otherwise can't breath. Wasted almost 2 hours to sort this out at night, didn't manage to rest until mid night because of this. Second night was fine as they had changed room for me. Took a small bottle of mineral water from the minibar and it cost €6/60Dhs which I think it absolutely overpriced consider I know the same bottle cost 3Dhs in the Carrefour across the road.

Nice location and service
Very happy with my experience. I was in Marrakech for our wedding anniversary and the hotel staff managed to get me some beautiful flowers and a delicious cake at short notice - placed in the room as a surprise when we got back in the evening. Rooms are clean, beds huge (I had the deluxe room) and breakfast was good with plenty of Moroccan style items. All staff were super friendly but then again, Moroccans are all friendly people.

Poor start, poor finish and average breakfast
Room not ready even we arrived 2hr and 30 minutes after check in time. Made to wait 2 hours for room (junior suite) cleaning and still not ready, me, my wife and little child too tired, disrupted our plans for the rest of the day. I asked to complementary cold drinks for me and baby which I was told will be given but promise not fulfilled. Had senior suite available but not offered as a goodwill gesture until I nearly shouted that why room was not ready Then offered to have senior suite for one night only, I refused to move between rooms during stay and pressed ahead and after 15 minutes of heated conversation was offered senior suite. Advertised that hotel provides parking for car but it doesn't and everyday I had to pay for parking to the guardian. Worst of all when this issue was brought forward, every day and every night staff kept changing the statements about parking spaces provided by the hotel. I asked for manager which was never available. Advertised that hotel offers in room breakfast free but was charged for it. English language must be learnt if having international guests but was not up to the average standards.
