"Beautiful hotel in a great location and the staff were kind enough to let us work from the bar until our rooms were ready. Valet parking was easy. Pre-check in was fine but check in when our rooms were ready was a faff and took longer than it should have as the staff were repeating the steps completed at pre check in. My room was lovely but very noisy so windows are single pane (the hotel is a listed building) but there was what sounded like construction noise outside/nearby all night which...

"Lovely Central position right next to the tram line. There are plenty shops close by.The hotel was nice and clean, room was lovely so we're the staff can't comment on the breakfast as I didn't have it."

"Hotel is conveniently located, it is stunning from the moment you walk in the front door. The atmosphere is welcoming and beautifully themed. We had a room with 2 large double beds which were very comfortable. The room was an excellent size with everything we needed and more. Its stunning, clean, lots of towels, robes, mini fridge, tea making facilities and a lovely choice of toiletries. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Everything was excellent and lovely staff. Only thing that stopped us giving 5* was the breakfast, which was nice, but choice on buffet bar was a limited for that standard of hotel."

"Great location, but disappointing overall. Stayed for a week and one of the three elevators was out of service the entire time. The other two were extremely slow, with waits over 15 minutes on multiple occasions, causing me to be late for an appointment. Rooms are not well soundproofed, especially on weekends. I also noticed a torn bed cover and dust in the room. Not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel."

"Great location with excellent facilities. We loved the fact the apartment had a washer, with traveling for so long, itʻs great to be able to wash our clothes! Loved the small gym and the safe parking for our car rental, which had access straight into the building via an elevator which made it easy with all our luggage. Would recommend for a stay in central Manchester."

"I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times before but this may be my last. We had a room on the second floor, the room and corridor had a v musty smell. The blinds in the room didn’t open properly and the decor in the room looked as though it needed refurbishment. The breakfast choice was ok but the food was lukewarm. An average stay."

"Could not fault our stay. The room far exceeded our expections, staff went above and beyond, despite being right in the centre by the railway station we had a silent undisturbed nights sleep. Look forward to staying again & maybe trying the breakfast this time!"

"Superb hotel I liked the room the restaurant and the location"

"Check in was a disaster. The room we booked wasn’t available. We were upgraded to a smaller room that had no bed for my daughter. Then offered the same tiny room with a camp bed in it for my teenager! Then we were showed another tiny room with a sofa bed which when pulled out ment we had to climb over sofa bed to get in our bed! We had booked a family studio and what we booked was not what we got. We were lied too by the receptionist. There was no management there we could speak too and baring...
