Overall a reasonable 3* hotel. Positives, clean and tidy, lots of sun beds and space, modern bathroom, comfortable beds, good a/c. Negatives, tatty in places, thin walls food not very warm, over crowded restaurant, limited free parking (€10 per day main car park) For the price I was happy with the hotel, however, needs a bit of renovation in places as looking worn and the rooms are very small, even superior! Main issue is the walls are thin and the rooms are very loud, you can hear people in other rooms clearly and if you’re unlucky to have loud neighbours you won’t sleep. Would return if live was good, paid £50 per night h/b, not worth much more as negative outweigh positives

Amazing value for money. Stayed half board. Good selection of food on the buffets. Fantastic location - close to the beach, bars, restaurants and the marina. Large pool with plenty of space to lie out on sunbeds. Reasonable prices at the hotel bar for drinks

Hotel was a great option for a one night stay to catch a flight from Malaga the next day. It was clean, standard room. We had to pay for pool towels and to use the safe in our room... this was unnecessary

Our 4th time at this hotel. It’s clean, tidy and in a great location. About 5 mins from the beach - yes up hill but it’s not the end of the world. I love that the outdoor space around the pool is so big. You don’t have to have a sunbed right next to you at all times!! Pool was freezing but it was refreshing once you were in. Food was good. Always good variety and found something to eat every meal. We were half bored and think it’s great value for money. The only issue we had is where they do the ‘show cooking’ people queue whilst the food is being cooked but that’s right in the way of half the other hot food so lots of people get funny about this. Only thing we found annoying, the hotel do what seem like coach trip type things so swarms of people arrive all at once in the restaurant and from our experience, a lot of them were really rude!! Overall; we love this hotel for what we pay you literally couldn’t get any better!

An excellent three star hotel with good food and friendly staff. The bedrooms are recently refurbished and the air conditioning if effective. The garden area is great for sunbathing and the bar is very reasonably priced. We enjoyed sitting outside for our breakfast and evening meals. Whilst the hotel was busy there was no queuing for coffee and fruit juice and there was a choice of freshly cooked meat or fish every night.Thanks to everyone at the San Fermin.

Pleasant stay.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially the reception staff, arrived few hours early but they allowed me to check in early as room was ready. They explained everything well and what my options were. Room (431) was nice, smaller than it looks in the pictures but overall very happy with a nice pool and sea view. The shower was lovely. Room cleaned and made up every day. The sliding door to balcony was a bit temperamental and tricky to lock and the handle was loose but being on 4th floor felt quite safe nobody would get in. The pool area was lovely and always clean and tidy surrounding it and always a sun lounger available. Food and drink available at the poolside bar. Went half board, the breakfast was nice and plenty of options available whatever your preference. The food during the evening was ok, nothing special, if I was there for a full week I'd probably opt to eat out some evenings. The hotel was in a reasonable location and the hill that everyone keeps mentioning wasn't too bad although someone less mobile might struggle but plenty of taxis nearby. Overall a very pleasant stay and happy with the service provided for the price I paid.

Makeover but not better!
This is a lovely hotel which seems to have had an extensive makeover! All the comfortable chairs in the lounge/bar area have been replaced with modern hard chairs - no comfort at all. No comfortable chair in the bedroom. Excellent shower but nowhere in the bathroom to put cosmetics toiletries etc!

Excellent hotel !
We both love this hotel have visited many times over the years! Some complain about cardiac hill, however it is doable! My Husnand is 78 almost and I have medical walking difficulties, but we manage, so do not be put off by other negative revews. This hotel is certainly worth a visit. Rooms have been refurbed, food is really good, staff very friendly, nothing we could complain about at all !!! we highly recommend!

Long Weekend Break
I booked this for a long weekend for my girlfriend’s birthday, we had a really good stay at this hotel, hotel staff were excellent, breakfast was decent with plenty of choice, room was really nice however two single beds pushed together was the only downside.. would fall down the gap in the night if we wanted to be together (needs double bedding to make them a double that don’t split) other than that highly recommend!! I forgot to tell the hotel it was her birthday and on the day they slipped free drinks vouchers under our door for us, also drinks at the bar were very reasonably priced and the bar staff were excellent, in particular Antonio!

We had a lovely few days here, staff helpful and friendly, food in the restaurant was nice and always hot, rooms were lovely and clean, there is a bit of a hill to climb to get to the hotel but my mum and dad in there 70’s did it ok with a couple of stops, Hotels location is good, bus stops near by, short walk to the beach, if you need a cab the reception staff will ring it takes a couple of minutes to arrive, they are reasonable prices too, would definitely come back
