Chose Hatten as its location is just next to shopping malls and walkable distance to nearby historical sites. Like the concept of having two unit of tvs in the room. Breakfast can be a hassle with plenty of diners but locating a seat should not be a problem.
Together with my two sisters and my husband, we st20ayed at the hotel for two nights from Jan 18-20.. The hotel was located within walking distance to the shopping areas like Palawan Shopping Mall, Parkson, onker Street, etc. The room was spacious and clean.
We had dinner at the Seri Nyonya Peranakan Restaurant located on the 3rd floor of the hotel on your first night. The food was so authentic and delicious that we had to go back for dinner again on the 2nd night. We enjoyed the Ayam Ponteh and the Fried Fish with chilli paste. The only disappointment was that the restaurant charged us for the sambal balachan @ RM4.00. I feel they should have provided this to us at no cost.
Forget about swimming in the pool as the water is icy cold. Will definitely book this hotel again on our next trip to Malacca. Hopefully, we could have our room upgraded to the Equator Club Room as we are quite anxious to know the difference in both the Deluxe and Equator Club room
Book a Family suite with 1 king bed and 2 singles just nice for my family of 4. Room is cleaned & spacious that make it comfort. Free coffee & Chinese tea sachets with kettle. Room lights are bright with several switch controls. Maybe is because the hotel is new. Hope they can keep up the cleanliness. Good view. 5 to 10 mins walk to several big shopping malls. Free parking and come with 4 breakfast. Breakfast is normal but we are satisfied with the local breakfast. With the price I paid with 30% less as advertised, is worth the stay.
Good Location - walking walk distance to Jonker Walk, Dataran Pahlawan and Mahkota shopping mall.
It was quite difficult to find the hotel location as there was a road closure for the night market due to arrival during weekend. It took us to make a few searches in order to find the right lanes approching to the hotel.
The reception had a little problem tracing my online booking but was resolved within 15min. The moment we stepped into our room at the 6th Storey, we like the clean and tidy room. The average room size is as expected of any standard 4-stars hotel and amenities include safe box, kettle completed with coffee/tea, iron with ironing board, TV and A/C with full self-adjustment panel for the temperature and fan speed. We stayed for 3 nights with free breakfast and newspaper at the door each morning. Breakfast was pleasingly good enough for a 4-stars hotel. Hotel staffs are polite and helpful. There is ample free parking surrounding the hotel, which is located at a good distance away from surrounding buildings - pleasingly quiet.
We were very happy with the choice recommended by Expedia via Trip advisor. The Hotel is very new, just over a year old. The Hotel is so beautiful, with painting, arts and sculpture at every corner.Beautiful and quality furnishings.A blend of history and art.
We discover that there are 2 stairways going up to the roof garden, lined with paintings. Service very good. Bath robs, hair dryer and slippers provided.Fresh coffee can be delivered to your room without any charge. They have 3 transfer services to the city area and 3 trips back. This is free, but need to book earlier. The pick up may be a bit delayed during peak seasons due to traffic jam.
It was easy to locate the Hotel as its at the fringe of the city, and no need to drive into the busy commercial area.
Stayed for 5 nights. Took superior room. just nice for me hubby n 3 year old daughter. My daughter so excited as there was a fun fair next to the hotel. Also, fireworks was displayed right infront of our room during the night. However it can be very disturbing coz almost every night there fireworks.
