"It really does feel like IHG is just buying up old properties slapping on some paint and trying to rebrand them as their properties. As such, we will no longer be using IHG properties at all. This is the second property we have stayed at in the Orlando area, that was absolutely trash! The place smells of mildew and the rooms were not clean or appointed well at all. It was far overpriced for the accommodations we received. The breakfast was the most disgusting breakfast I have ever seen laid out. The pool was disgusting and had bugs the entire time. My children were afraid to use it. The only saving grace was the staff was very very nice and you can tell they try so hard to like their job even though they probably hate what they’re doing."

"This hotel is very special. A wonderful place for kids - and adults too. I was impressed with the amenities (games, playground equipment, bouncy house, very clean pool), super nice staff, character breakfast. The hotel looks like it was converted from maybe a quality inn or best western; honestly some parts of the structures look a bit worn - but the room itself was clean and comfortable."

"This hotel was okay. It was safe and clean, but more run down than anticipated. Lighting was dim and everything felt worn out and outdated. Breakfast was fine enough, with scrambled eggs and sausage each morning, along with old bagels, muffins, a Mickey Mouse waffle maker, and watered down oatmeal. The breakfast staff was so kind and helpful. We intentionally selected this hotel based on the amenities included, and we were disappointed to learn the main pool was closed, the splash pad didn’t work, and the remaining pool was shared with multiple other hotels on the area. It was very crowded. Additionally, one night, at about 1am, the fire alarm went off. It continued for a few minutes, just long enough to wake our entire party up, then turned off. We waited a few minutes to see what we should do, but even now, days later, nobody followed up on it. If you need a cheap, safe place to crash at night, this is fine. If you’re looking for any level of experience, I’d find something else."

"I want to commend the staff. The front desk clerk was really friendly and courteous. She welcomed us and even gave us a brief introduction to the Melia brand. Even the security staff we encountered was helpful and assisted us on our way to our room. The hotel itself (at least our building) did show some wear, but the amenities and staff made the stay worth it. Definitely will consider going back when in the area again."
