“Nothing wrong at all!”

The worst part about this place was the area it was in, everything about the hotel itself was absolutely fine. I don't know what all these negative reviews are about.

“Better than expected”

This hotel is located near the major downtown attractions and easily accessible by bus and metro. The neighborhood is a little seedy, but not really a problem. The staff is friendly, helpful, and competent, and although some aspects of the room are a bit worn (e.g., carpet, mattress), everything is spotlessly clean. The lobby is gorgeous, and a small coffee shop off the lobby supplies breakfast basics and a small snack selection at reasonable prices. I was very pleased with what I got for the price.

“More than just a budget hotel!”

This is definitely more than just a budget hotel! The receptionist and the staff are awesome! Very polite, very helpful! Just what every visitor's looking for. I asked the receptionist for help since we're running late on our flight and he gladly offered to print our boarding passes at no charge! Wonderful! He was very patient the whole time! Perfect! The hotel lobby was sooo great as well! I felt like I was walking into a 4 star hotel. They even have free wifi internet which is such a plus for a hotel this cheap. We even got a free room upgrade which was unbelievable! Thanks to such a wonderful hotel management! The room was neat and comfy and got everything we needed! We definitely got so much than what we paid for!

“Great Budget Hotel!”

If you are looking for a cheap hotel in a great downtown location, this is the hotel for you! The room was old fashioned but everything was clean, comfortable, and functional but no frills. The private bathroom for my room was well maintained. The hotel is old (1920's or 30's) but very well kept. Plenty of maintenance staff work here and keep everything ship shape. The hallways shine and smell of disinfectant. The neighborhood may seem rough around the edges but the area is perfectly safe at any time of the day or night. If you are from a big city you'll be just fine since there is nothing here that you haven't seen in your own city. If you aren't, you might be weirded out by some of the characters wandering around on the street, but for the most part they are harmless. Be vigilant and use common sense just like anywhere else and you'll be fine. I would gladly stay here again!

“Great hotel for the price”

Overall, the hotel is quite satisfactory considering money spent. Staff is very polite and helpful. The room is surprisingly clean but I choose the room with its own bath. I did not feel comfortable of sharing bathroom with others. My biggest complain is the bed; it is quite old and in some areas, the springs of the mattress is out of place. I was waking up with some back pains but again what you pay is what you get. I wish there was an AC in the room so I had to leave window open but then fire trucks, ambulances, police sirens makes it quite noisy. Hotel provides internet service in the lobby but I wish that could have extended in the rooms as well. There is no restaurant in the hotel but a small coffee shop. Overall, I am satisfied considering the money spent but probably I would spend a little more money to stay in a better hotel.

“Trippy little joint. Very quaint.”

This place was kind of a trip. The room was pretty small, and I got the feeling that i was in some kind of European hostle or something. The walls looked to be some sort of painted stone or something, and it just had an old vibe to it. Our room had a bathroom, but appanrently not all rooms have did. There were showers and toilets in the hallway (with doors of course, they're all private, haha). My friend and i liked it, it was different, it was an experience of sorts. A...trip! Worked fine for two guys looking for a place to sleep after a long night of partying anyway.
