We were allocated a 2 bed apartment in a great location, however the apartment was filthy - lots of things were broken including the patio door which could easily be opened from the outside . - a huge security issue . There were hairs in one of the beds , the bathrooms had cracked loose tiles and hairs in the bathtub - there was dust and crumbs on the floor and the apartment was just generally in a poor state of repair . Overall I feel we did not receive what we had booked and paid for. Very disappointed .

We stayed in 5 different apartments during our trip to the U.K. This was the most disappointing. We were told to go to unit 13 to check in and pick up keys. We got an Uber there and then was told our actual apartment was 3 miles away. They did get us a taxi but it wasted another hour. When we arrived at our two bedroom apartment one of the beds was not made. We called to ask them to come make up the bed. They told us they could drop off sheets pillows and a comforter and I told them no: make up the bed for us as we are paying. They did. We had 2 lumps of soap for 2 bathrooms. 1 spare toilet roll between the two and one only had 5 sheets left on the roll. No shampoo. No body wash. Skimpy towels. The carpets were disgustingly dirty. The closet was a hanger over the bedroom door with 3 coat hangers. The lights had dimmers but none worked. The lights in the living room we so low you couldn’t see at night. It smelt and the corridor smelt worse. It had been left to deteriorate. Light bulbs did not all work and the front door lock was hit or miss. Needed a major makeover. And the water out of the tap tasted disgusting. A couple of tea bags were left with sugar but no milk. Very poor compared to our other experiences

This property is located a bit away from the check in location, which is very inconvenient. The apartment could use a decent cleaning as there was thick dust on ceiling fans. The shower water is lukewarm at best. There were several issues which should not have been an issue in the first place. The first issue was that two doorknobs came off in hand upon opening doors. The second issue, which was a major issue, there was blood on the comforters provided. I would not recommend the company that provides this apartment.

Key needs to be collected from a location 20 minutes away. Apparently, it is mentioned somewhere on the Expedia page when making the booking... Internet is slow WHEN it works Area advertised is different from the actual area of the apartment. not enough bed sheet and pillows, Overall very disappointing

This was a fabulous apartment. Wonderfully comfortable in a great location. We had such a lovely time. My only complaints are 1) having to go to an office across London to pick up the keys. It was a huge loss of time and expensive to take taxis all across town and 2) the nearest neighbours were indulging in some recreation that was exceptionally fragrant, if you catch my drift. It was a bit unpleasant. Otherwise everything was fantastic

The check in desk was little too off the beaten track, but service was good. The apartment location was good and spacious, but some of the furniture was damaged, a 8 litre cooking pot was available, but its over dimensioned for boiling eggs for four, a high chair would have been good as well suger was there but salt would also have been a good to include for simple cooking.

Sadly in need of maintenance 😟
The appartment was in the exact part of London that we needed to be in and very conveniently located between two tube stations. It was also spacious and well laid out. That being said, the carpets were so worn and stained in the master bedroom that we decided to use the smaller bedroom for sleeping, Medicine cabinet in main bathroom was falling apart and a light fixture was duct taped over. The last morning the circuits all shut off while doing a load of wash, there was a terrible “buzzing” sound coming from the range (which we then shut the power off to) and we couldn’t use the toaster without blowing all of the breakers again. Management was notified and, hopefully, they will not rent out this particular apartment until the issues (especially the electrical) are fixed. Loved the space in the apartment and the ammenities (if they had worked) but everything was terribly in need of maintenance! I would be leary of renting through them again.

Spacious, great location, comfortable. Kitchen great. Only issue is there is a clothes dryer in a closet with no way to plug it in. Bathroom could use exhaust fan but don't know if that is typical here. Overall very pleased.

We did not get the property that was booked, the pictures were completely differnet from what we got. Although the apliances where new the apartement itself was so small you could barley move aound at all. There were so many other issues aswell, no railing on balcony, no wash cloths there was a washer but no dryer so you had to wait 3 days for your clothes to dry on a rack, the vedtoom was already so small and they put this huge useless couch in there wich blocked half the doorway to the bathroom. Overall the place was too cramped and was in a bad neiborhood nit child friendly apartemwnt at all. Would never stay there again.

Great Place to Stay near Soho
We stayed at an apartment in Theobald's Rd Holborn ... sensational location with proximity to Trafalgar Sq/The Strand 15 mins walk. Holborn Underground 6-7 min walk, lots of local pubs, restaurants, Sainsbury's supermarket, Boots Pharmacy ... Only drawback was due to "heatwave" in London (28-32 Deg C) ... bedroom had ceiling fan, but lounge no fan ... and very noisy if windows open

Apartment front door key opens a different properties main entrance door. Apartment entrance hall has no coat hooks. Bedroom has 2 wardrobes but no hangers and poor shelf space, a security light points at the window flooding the room with light when trying to sleep, and no bedside lamps. Bathroom has no bin. The only bin is in kitchen area and it is woefully small. No placemats or coasters. Able to hear upstairs tenants noise easily. Able to hear trains passing. Someone else's hair found in the fridge and the sink Shower drain cover missing. No washing up liquid.

Friendly staffs, and we got our hotel in the early morning which was a big surprise for us as we have two babies, we can put down our luggages and settled down ourselves when we arrived London in the early morning! But the location was a fit far away from underground station, and the beds were too small for two adults with babies.

The first flat we were assigned was a 3 bedroom basement apartment. It had so much water/rising damp issues that the flat smelt disgusting and moist all the time. We are a family travelling with 4 adults & 2 children. We still have 9 days left of our European travels and all our clothes & suitcases stink!! My parents who are 70 ended up with bad coughs too. Thankfully we were moved to a nicer apartment for our last two nights. However, the first place we were given should not be lived in let alone rented out. I am very disappointed as the flat definitely did not reflect the 3.5 star rating on the wesite. Holiday makers beware!

Great Location
In a great location. Easy to get to Chancery tube & buses. Great new modern pubs across street. Small grocery one block away. Beds are comfy & the apartment is well appointed. Easy & short travel to most popular sites in London. Very nice apartment but really noisy 8 AM - 5 PM, M - F, due to construction next door. We were out most of the day so not a big problem. Really too noisy if you have a baby or someone who wants to nap or relax in the apartment during the daytime, M - F. Weekend are fine, Staff was responsive in general. We were there during one of the worst 3 day heat waves in 40 years. Don't expect air-conditioning in London. We asked for oscillating fans, which they provided. Due to staffing they couldn't deliver them so we had to go get & assemble them. It made a big difference. Thankfully the office is only a 10 minute walk away.The following week London was back to cool/cold, cloudy weather.

The bottom renters left the exit door open so it felt insecure.The floor in the flat was uneven and improperly installed and we could feel where the floor was uneven underneath. We loved the area and local restaurants and stores. We also loved the location.

What was found was NOT what I expected.
NOT what I expected. Right from the start the information on the expedia web site was misleading, I had picked a two bedroom apartment ( one bedroom apartments not being available at the time of booking ) and found when I arrived that it was a one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the living room. All the pictures on the site showed light and bright interiors with modern furniture. What I ended up with was a not very bright apartment with what looked like furniture from a local second hand shop. I was not expecting luxury five star living and that's exactly what I got, a passing resemblance to the photo's on the web site would have been acceptable, however, as is common in London what's on the tin is NOT what's inside. The staff at a near by office where very helpful and replaced the defective microwave, provided the kitchen tools that were missing and the plug for the bathroom sink, also missing and a TV so small that It could not be viewed from one side of the living room to the other, all replaced without question and almost immediately, so no problems from the staff, they did their best. As far as the two bedroomed apartment I thought I was ordering the staff in the Churchill Nike Apartments informed me that that was what was booked as far as they were concerned and I need to take up with Expedia. So Expedia What went wrong.

We are allocated the flat at Camden Town area, however it takes a 10-15mins walk from the tube station, which is a bit far. Few lights are not working at the day we checked in. However, the staffs are helpful enough to have them fixed in the next day. The kitchen utensils are good.

I wanted to stop at Churchill Nike Apartments. It is next door to where I work. However, they company give me an apartment 30 minutes, 2 tube rides, away. It was a very nice apartment but not in a great location.

Spacious flat 10 minutes from underground
Flat was great value. Very spacious and in good condition. Kitchen had everything you needed. It was about a 10 minute walk from any underground location and also from the key pick-up location. Location is not at the Churchill House that comes up when you google that in London. I believe this group has housing all over this part of the city. No central air so we needed to keep the windows open which could make it noisy. Mattresses were also on the soft side.

All in all not a bad place to stop. Not having stopped in apartments before we did some research [ all be it after we had booked ] and we did have some initial concerns having read some of the previous reviews on trip advisor. The fact that the company changed the venue for checking in twice also set some alarm bells ringing but once we got to check in staff where fine and the apartment itself was of a decent standard. Negatives where the stairs up to apartment could do with being refurbished as could the settee in the apartment itself but otherwise it was clean, decent enough facilities with the positive that there are a few bars and cafes etc. surrounding the apartment whilst Covent garden, London tower and some of the other attractions are approx. a mile away so its great for a little walk out or if you prefer the tube then there are 3 stations within a 5 minute walk

The apartment was fine. Clean and good value considering its central location. However, it was hard to get hold of staff to reconfirm our arrival time (we had to call Prague to speak to someone), and inconvenient having to go to a different location to pick up the keys. Also, the water heater stopped working the day after we arrived, so we had a couple of days without any hot water.

Overall pleasing experience although the heater did not work the first day (quickly fixed) and the check in is not done at the apartment address but in the rental office located 30 minutes away by tube/bus (this is not specified by Expedia).

Was a bit of a pain collecting the keys especially on a Sunday when you can not use Camden town tube station until 5:30pm - not good in the rain. However the appartment was a much better experience than using a hotel and local shops are just around the corner - much more comfortable and thwe bathroom was nice and big. I will be using this appartment again in the future :-)
