We had to pay extra to upgrade but it was worth it... the place is beautiful, surrounded by beautiful view... the service is top notch. Pak rully the manager help us with renting the bike. Everything we need for is by walking distance. Definitely will be back in the future.

Staff were lovely food was great the gardens and grounds were beautiful. The rooms were clean but a little bit tired they are in the process of updating the rooms in particular the bathrooms. Overall we absolutely will stay there again

Overall a good place to stay although I felt disappointed that the two rooms I booked were in the furthered corner of the complex. They were also directly in front of a septic tank that was very smelly at times. Considering I booked approx back in February I feel we should have had better positioning of our rooms. Otherwise a nice stay.

Stayed in the traditional lumbung, which was great for the novelty, but wouldn't recommend for more than a couple of nights as the stairs to the outdoor bathroom are a bit precarious. The buffet breakfast is very average and not a lot of variety. Overall a good stay and the swim up pool bar is great!

We stayed at the Traditional Lumbung Hut and had an amazing experience.Clean, well maintained bedroom on the upper level and open air bathroom on the ground floor. Highly recommend to anyone looking for unique tropical vibes. Very kind and friendly staff.

One of the best hotels on Gili T.
The location is fabulous, the pool is beautiful (although we preferred to use the private beach) and the staff is very very helpful. We had a slight issue with our scooter rental and they went more than out of their way to solve our problem. Gili T. is a beautiful Island to relax for 2 - 3 days and Villa Ombak made it even better.

Nice resort with ood facilities and service. It has its own spa and clinic. Provides us with bicycle each. The spped boat from lombok goes to our hotel direct But room is not well maintained. Air con idn our room was not working. We ha to change rooms in the night

It was quiet but still close to the action. The hut we stayed in had stairs to the toilets which was not great at night but when we told the staff they changed us to another room with no additional cost.

While the main jetty on the island is being constructed this property is a convenient option. Sadly however, the rooms are quite dated and pools quiet run down, well overdue for a refit. Breakfast was pretty average and the wifi very weak. As one of the original hotels on the island, this place shows it. Also, we originally chose the Lambung Hut however the treacherous staircase down to the bathroom (staircase over the sink) was quite impractical, we tried to purchase an upgrade to a pool villa but cost was exorbitant (not sure why given the resort was at very low capacity) so we opted for a downgrade (no refund offered), This property may suit older European clientele who will likely be easily impressed by the tropical surrounds etc but for customers from SEA and Oceania, I would suggest consider an alternative.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had to leave early two mornings to catch the boat for snorkeling. The staff had breakfast ready for us before they opened the kitchen. They went above and beyond to help us.

Quiet place on the party island.
I stayed here two nights with my girlfriend. We had a blast on Gili Trawangan. I tried this property because the ombak sunset is under construction after the earthquake. There is a lot to do in the area. It’s quiet inside the rooms. You can reach the main party area within 5 minutes walking. Very beautiful area with lots to do. There are cooking classes, pool tables, and chess to play. I would book here again. My only complaint is the bicycle rental. I think this should be free with hotel. These are rusty old bikes, no need to charge so much per day.

Memorable experience with hotel
I felt I stayed real nice, beautiful hotel. Most hotel in the city, just built a simple building but hotel ombak has a lots trees and flowers,as if we are stayed in the beautiful park. Also there are very clear clean water beach at front of hotel. I would like to come back this hotel in the future of my vacation.

Hut room
Location, set up, bed, pool and beaches were incredible. Negatives are (we stayed in a hut room) the wifi was terrible, not even worth connecting. Bed had a wooden border round it that was just above mattress height which someone banged their head on. Hot water was scarce, not enough for two people to shower which wasnt good on a night time in an outdoor shower when it's starting to get cold. Lastly the food for breakfast was decent, but the service was terrible(bar the omelette server who was always friendly). Never any glasses, mugs or plates. Normally had to ask 2 or three times for a mug for a coffee. When they did bring them it was only one or two meaning 5 minutes later someone else had the same scenario again. Other than that it was a lovely place and thoroughly enjoyed it. Just seemed to get a few basics wrong

Hotel manager overcharged one of my party and refused to refund. No kids menu. No overseeing for ordered breakfast. We would get twice to three times the food ordered. Such a waste. We would never go back again. Also not to Gili T as it is not small children friendly and the boat trip back 3 1/2 hours instead of quoted 2 hours was horrendous with high seas and the boat breaking down half way. With previous kids on board we were terrified .

It was exceptionally clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful. For example the weather was restricting us from travelling by fastboat from Bali to Gili T and the concierge at the hotel helped us greatly by informing us we could fly to Lombok and they would arrange a airport shuttle and fast boat to the hotel. This meant we didn’t miss out on three paid nights at the hotel and we were so glad as the place is literally PARADISE!!!

This hotel was unlike anything I have ever stayed in before- the little huts are really cool. The beds are comfortable and air conditioning is provided which is greatly needed. I would however recommend to bring some mosquito repellent as the bathrooms are outdoors. The overall hotel itself is perhaps one of the best on the island- the grounds and pool area are stunning and the breakfast is good too. There are some tiles missing on the floor of the hidden pool so go careful here, however considering the island is recovering from a major earthquake I don’t think perfect condition can be expected. Would definitely recommend!

We did a 3 week trip around Bali and some surrounding islands. Our initial booking was for 5 nights in the Traditional Lumbung Hut. On inspection it was a lot smaller than we anticipated, as the area is split with upstairs and downstairs. We asked to change to another room type which was done with no fuss and and no extra charge. We ended up extending our stay by another 2 days. It was our favourite accommodation the whole trip.
