We chose the Svarga Hotel for its stunning architecture! Beautiful design and interior as expected. Our stay here was overall enjoyable, the staff are super helpful and friendly. However, we did come when the lift was in maintenance so it was a bit of a hike to our room. I also wish that they can improve on maintaining the structures (rooftop area etc.) and facilities a bit better as the hotel is very beautiful. the breakfast is nice too. Thank you Svarga Hotel!

The common were nice, but the rooms were very underwhelming. Not super clean and the AC barely worked. Breakfast was below average. Overall, really not as nice as on the pictures from the listing

Unfortunately we found the room very sparse and uncomfortable - no place to relax unless you sat on the bed. The pool was uninviting as you are right by the restaurant - no umbrellas. Grounds did not provide any areas to relax in. On top of that the nearby mosque would broadcast loudly {chants} several times a day ! We left two days early sacrificing our money as it was that uncomfortable. Staff were friendly but that did not make up for for the rest !

We had amazing experience in here. Nice view , friendly and kind stuff, beautiful designs building and room with every detail. Pool is amazing we can stay pool side all day long. Nothing to see near by there but you can relax in this hotel.

Location is not strategic which not near to beach or market. However it is a awesome place if you are looking for quiet stay and amazing facility. We can enjoy private pool in our room and floating breakfast in the morning. The resort have own restaurant which provide great food as well.

Rima, Maya and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They went beyond and above to make our stay pleasant and that we see lots of scenery around Lombok. It was a very spoilt and relaxing experience. It was a perfect getaway!!

A beautiful resort with the friendliest and most accommodating staff. When we stayed, a room beside the pool was under maintenance, but still the views over the palm canopy were truly gorgeous. We would fully recommend this hotel and loved our time here.l

Beautiful hotel but in need of refreshing
Svarga Lombok is perched on the side of a mountain. It is a beautiful property. Unfortunately, upon closer look, the rooms are in quite a bad shape and in need of serious renovation. There was water damage on walls, ceilings, and floor tiles. The wooden furniture looked weathered. Fortunately, the staff was friendly and always ready to cater to our needs. A plus point of the rooms, they were clean, airy, and bright. Now on to our ordeal during our 1-night stay. We were initially given a Varda Suite (without private pool). However, the ceiling next to a sliding door started to leak when it rained on that day. We called to inform the receptionist and were immediately upgraded free of charge to a Varda Suite with a pool. The room was huge with open, non-AC living room and kitchen. Anyway, our elation was shortlived. That evening, we found the open area was swarmed with flying termites. Although they did not bite, they were a nuisance when we were in the living room. We ended up hiding in our room for the rest of the evening. We had informed and written in to the management in hope that they would rectify this issue in the near future.

Let me first say that we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. However, there were a few issues which may bother some more than me. 1) The a/c in our room was under-powered and the room was an oven in the heat of the afternoon (mainly due to the huge western-facing window), 2) The call button for the one and only elevator never worked during our stay. So, we had to walk the 169 steps up to our room every time. The management seemed to be in denial about the problem, and there were no signs notifying guests about the outage. And 3) I found it interesting that the eggs Benedict weren't served on an English muffin and didn't have Hollandaise sauce... Without the English muffin and hollandaise sauce, isn't that just poached egg on toast?

Beautiful hotel! We were greeted very warmly by the staff once we arrived. Our room was not ready yet, but we went to the spa for a free five-minute welcome massage, then walked around the hotel a bit. There are many steps (even when using the lift) so be warned for those who are not able to climb a lot of stairs. From the restaurant there is a great view of treetops and a bit of the sea. It is nice to watch the sunset from here. The breakfast was really good, personally I liked the lontong. The room was nice and clean. However, new towels were only available after 5pm. Would recommend.

Positive: Beautiful hotel, pleasant ambience, staff are very friendly, breakfast are goods. Negative: Quite disturbing & noisy when there is an event at the hotel. From 3 night we stayed, 2 of the nights there was an event at the entrance of the hotel. Other than that everything is good. Kudos!

Beautful Zen-like Resort
Svarga apparently means heaven, and this resort has not been misnamed. Out room in this new resort was spacious and clean. The design of the bathroom is such that it is opened to the sky outside but still offers privacy. We had dinner at the resorts restaurant and found menu varied, food great, and not pricey. The buffet breakfast was also good. WiFi in our room was good: 4 bars. Staff was friendly and helpful.

very out of the way, with no nearby amenities. Hotel is the most disable friendly hotel we've stayed in the with number of steps we have to climb. To get to our room, we needed to take a small flight of steps to the elevator then once we get to our floor, we have to climb up and then climb down again. What if their guests had difficulty walking or in wheelchair ?

Amazing.
We had a lovely stay in the Varda Suite. The private pool was a highlight. Restaurant is delicious if you don’t feel like venturing too far after a big day of adventuring. A great place to stay overall.

A hidden gem
A nice place.. Quiet at times.. but you can hear blast of dangdut songs out loud... donno from where. Overall a good place to stay.. Love the layout design... only issue... might wanna consider revising the breakfast hours to 6... as most go out on tours around 7 -8 n your restaurant operate only at 7... literally.. only take order at 7 .. food out about 15 mins later...

Second time at Svarga!
It was love at first sight for me. Love the friendly staff, the delicious food at the cafe, the spa, basically everything about the hotel. However, might need to try to maintain the furniture in the room. My bed was making so much noise, it was difficult for us to sleep. My husband end up sleeping on the floor cause the baby kept on waking up as he move around, otherwise love everything about the resort!

Stayed in svarga for 2 nights. We planned to relax and enjoy beautiful stay instead of exploring lombok since this was our 2nd trip to lombok. Svarga is the best place cause it provides everything. Amazing place, stunning scenery,lovely staff and excellent facilities:pool, restaurant, spa. Just perfect as its name, svarga=heaven

Overall experience was okay. Food at the restaurant was good and priced reasonably. Booked the room with the private pool - room was huge with bedroom and living room with TV. Cleanliness of the room can be improved. Many lizards inside and outside of room. Hotel's swimming pool closes at 7pm which was a bit early compared to hotel standards and there was nothing much to do around the hotel. If you want to go to the city centre of Senggigi, you probably have to take a taxi or rent a motorbike from the hotel. Hotel provides free sunset tour at 5pm.

Beautiful resort but not very well-maintained
With the price and positive reviews, we have quite high expectation for our stay. The resort is beautiful but it was not well-maintained. We booked a Mavwa room and we were very disappointed with the cleanliness (we doubted if we should take off our shoes the moment we walked into our room) and there were obvious spots on towel and bedsheet. (And even on the couch at the lobby!!) We called the reception and were glad they attended to the matter promptly. That said, the staff are very helpful, location is good (but do note that the nearest shops and restaurants are about 2km away), and checking in and out was a breeze.

I can not express enough how helpful the staff were here, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome, special and valued. The hotel itself is beautiful although it is worth noting that it is alcohol free, not that it bothered us in the slightest.

A Non-Typical & Halal Lombok Hotel/Resort
While most of the other hotels or resorts are beside the sea, Svarga is one of those unique hotels that brings you away from that very expectation and at the same time offering you a different beauty that Lombok promises - the vast forest and oh-so-beautiful mountains. I stayed in the Adna Garden Suite, and I must say that sometimes I don't feel like I am in Lombok. The infrastructure and façade of the hotel makes me feel that somehow I am in Santorini, Greece but minus the view of course. In absence of that, I always loved breakfast as we are treated to the view of the treetops and mountains,

This is a lovely resort. The grounds are big and spacious and although it looks like they have many rooms/suites there is only 25 of them. So there is an element of staff getting you know you by your names etc. We enjoyed breakfast which was served fresh and there is a good variety available. The restaurant menu was fine and reasonably priced. The resort is spacious, located within a hill and beautifully designed however this does mean that there are lots of steps so any elderly couple may wish to stay in the lower numbered rooms.There is a lift to the restaurant on the 2nd floor, but lots of steps to negotiate before you get there (ofcourse room service is also available). The pools are a decent size and you have complete privacy. In the Adna rooms the pools are shaded by tall palm tress and in the Varda suite the pools are open to the Sun. The resort has a free one-way shuttle which runs twice daily to the local tourist town Sengigi.

The breakfast staffs were excellent. They were very professional, friendly, and has a great sense of humor. However, the receptionists were a great disappointment. They were not at all professional, they went into a daze when there wasn't anything much to do. And when I tried calling them twice to ask for a porter, no one picked up the phone. While checking out, I realise that the phone doesn't have a ringer, it just blinks. When asked, she said she was round the back doing accounting. Wonder how she would know there is a call when the phone doesn't even ring, and she is out the back.

Lifetime experience in Svarga, lombok
The best experience ever of my life. Me and my wife enjoyed it to the core. I will definitely be visiting the place again with same hotel and the same room. And shall spend more then a week this time. Lovely ambience. In totality, it was a life time remembeing trip with my beloved. Great stay. Did not disappointed. Everyday is likr paradise in Lombok. Great view that will leave you in awe. We stayed ar Vanda villa - 2 bedded for the family with a private pool and a kitchen. Lovely views all around. Clean and comfortable stay. Breakfast area was just steps away yet we are enclosed in a private walkway to our villa. The higher floor you are the better the view. If you are taking a single bedded with no pool the environment should be just as relaxing but if you can get the family villa and above category then the view is simply stunning. Quite far from Kuta beach though but we came from Gili island so was a half an hour drive from the private jetty which suit us well

A great hotel to stay if on your way to Gili....
The staff were very helpful and the location is just outside Sengigi offering a peaceful haven from the sound of traffic. Truly wonderful space to relax and shed baggage from busy London. The spa is a must and the food was excellent. Breakfast with a view not to be missed....soak up the sounds of nature and smell the blossoms :)

Affordable Luxury Hotel with Relaxing stay
I have been stayed in 3 nights. Very nice and helpful staff , you will feel the hotel are very relaxing and best for especially away from busy city stay. Nice green landscape surrounding tropical coconut tree. Comfortable , but amount is not too high but you can enjoy the luxury stay. I like the hotel you will feel very peaceful. Good for relaxing.
