"I wasn't there long enough to form an opinion outside of my arrival and room. My 2nd message from Carey Lodge which likely contained my door code and some entrance instructions would not open so I had a bit of a hard time figuring it all out while exhausted and in a lot of pain. "The room was so clean and the bed was so comfortable. Everything was bright and fresh. We stayed in the comfort queen and it was so nice to have a full kitchen."

"It was a basic room no frills. The staff were very nice and helpful. Close to Horse shoe bay terminal. It suited us for one night only. The resto attached was not very good and prices were high. Not impressed with the resto ."

"This hotel is very conveniently located to enjoy the Stanley Park and English Bay Area. Easy to rent bikes, walk, and many restaurants. It can be noisy on the street side but that comes with the territory. You can choose a room on the back side for quieter experience. The rooms are spacious!! Great choice to enjoy Vancouver area."

"Was a little worried at the exterior pictures / reviews but we were pleasantly surprised to find a newly renovated room. Only negative was the twin beds…..very small for 4 average adults and queen beds would fit in the room. Smart tv was a bonus as we could use our own Netflix subscription."

"We stayed 2 nights and loved it. The rooms have been recently renovated and are super cute, clean and comfortable. The pool and garden area are lovely with picnic tables, a bbq and the occasional hummingbird flying by. The inn is dog friendly and the staff were just wonderful. We will definitely be back!"

"The booking for the room was good. It was very difficult to find due to the shrubbery around the entrance. There appeared to be several vehicles owned by the owner taking up spaces that customers could use and it wasn’t appreciated that several large vehicles were parked close to the guest rooms. There is great potential for the hotel but the owner isn’t taking advantage of that opportunity. "Very difficult check in when booking staff in to the hotel. Paperwork back and forth, no clear direction from staff as to what they needed. Sent the wrong form, forgot to ask for part of the info they needed. Not convenient at all, not what we usually get from Expedia"
