“Beautiful, fragrant and friendly.”

"Affordable luxury in a wonderful city. The foyer is an air conditioned oasis with a great coffee shop. Full of flowers and scented with lavender oil it was a welcome relief from the busy city or humid jungle. The rooms were a little outdated but I particularly loved the marble bathrooms and retro hair dryer. They were also cleaned and restocked daily by smiley staff who lovingly folded my daughters pajamas as well as the toilet paper to a perfect point. The swimming pool was also a luxury in heat of the city and surrounded by a bar terrace attended by eager waiting staff. Unfortunately the spa was closed for refurbishment but bodes well for future visits. However the breakfast buffet stole the show and I found myself fanaticising and planning what I might have the following day with my pot of fresh coffee and pile of tropical fruit."

“We will be back!”

We were delighted with all aspects of our stay there. Kuching and the Hilton hotel with its river views we think is Asia's best kept secret!

“Fantastic View”

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Kuching. We were given a better room than we booked which had a fantastic view over the Kuching River. We found the hotel very comfotable. The buffet breakfast excellent and the staff welcoming friendly and courteous. The swimming pool was beautiful in a garden setting, water warm, quiet setting and very helpful staff. The hotel is in a very good position for the town centre, river and all sights and attractions.

“Best Chinese Restaurant I have ever tried.”

The views from our room were magnificant. The hotel rooms are ageing but they slowly being renovated. The friendliness and service of the staff is excellent. This was our second stay at the Hilton in Kuching and I would recommend it.

“GREAT LOCATION”

Beautifully kept hotel with excellent service, pool and good restaurants. Across the street from riverfront promenade and five-minute walk to boat rides. Try Borneo Stove restaurant across from lobby entrance for tribal food in nice cafe.

“Spectacular river view”

I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton which was well located with easy access to local shops, temples and museums. My room was very large with a wonderful view over the town and Sarawak River. It was beautiful watching the setting sun gleam over the river. The staff were friendly and room service arrived quickly. The pool area was very pleasant for an afternoon swim and respite from the heat. I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Expensive internet”

The room was small but our biggest complaint was that the hotel wanted to charge $20 a day for a slow internet connection. It took days to arrange to print out our boarding passes for the next leg of our journey. The Steakhouse Restaurant was a disappointment,
