“Two nights in Kuala Lumpur”

Great hotel. Stayed for 2 nights in a room with city (twin towers) view. I think the park view might be better. The room was in good condition, the bed was very comfortable. We ate at the Japanese bistro and the Mandarin Grill. Both had very good food, but compared to the prices I would expect more from an establishment of this standard. The MO Bar was a little disappointing. The management should make sure that the staff knows how to make classic cocktails, by training them properly. Both restaurants and the bar need some tweaking. Breakfast was good, but to many things at the buffet tasted like it was industrial produced. All in all its a very good hotel and I will stay there again next time I go to KL.

“Superb!”

Can't fault the place or the service - just superb hotel and staff - location great - v central to everything. We walked to Chinatown/Little India in 20 mins. Right next to Petronas towers which are great! Check out the rooftop pool.

“Very Pleasant Stay, Recommend Club Level Highly”

Stayed at the Club level room, arrived early morning, stayed one night, and left later that night - was allowed 2 days use of the Club, excellent value.

“Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur”

The room was well equipped with all sorts of things - stationery of all sorts, bath items, slippers, robes to wear, etc. There was 24 hr room service. Staff attentive and helpful and pleasant. We needed an adaptor which was supplied promptly. A small store in the hotel sells souvenirs and items like cough drops and magazines. The business center was excellent.

“One of the best hotels in the world”

Nice corner room with a view of the park behind the Towers. The staff were (the usual) polite and friendly team. We were given a late checkout without any hassle. One of my favourite hotels in the world. After staying many time here, I tried a hotel nearby (begins with T) and was really disappointed with that one. So, back to the Mandarin Oriental and I was very pleased ..

“Lovely hotel, perfect location”

Lovely hotel. We switched from the Ritz Carlton KL mid-trip and found the Mandarin Oriental to have far greater options for dining, shopping and entertainment. We will certainly book the MO again the next time that we are in KL.

“5 stars earned”

The service at the hotel is exceptional with everyone, and I mean everyone, willing to try to help you out. Sometimes they are more successful than others, but they all try. The gym is exceptional and outclasses our luxury gym back home for equipment, space and service. An attendant greets you at the elevator, another hands you a towel and a bottle of water and offers any assistance with the equipment you need. The pool and pool area is no better than most facilities of a similar class, but the service is beyond what is necessary. Again you are greeted at the entrance. The attendant will show you to a lounge and spread out towels for your comfort. Pool side food and beverage service is quick and efficient and they even bring around free ice water regularly and occasionally some fruit treats. Other than our first breakfast buffet, we didn’t use the eating facilities in the hotel, opting instead for outside food. The hotel is attached to the KLCC and sits in the shadows of the twin towers. A huge mall is nearly attached to the hotel offering the convenience of all the shopping and food services you could ever ask for. Expensive hotel, but worth the price.“luxury with convenience.”
