Very nice beach escape
Nice hotel situated just on the beach and close to the Thai - Cambodian border crossing. Great staff and owner. Tranquil and peaceful settings. Family friendly. Good rooms that are well maintained. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice resort .breakfast was cold . Rooms are nice pool is nice . Beach is fantastic but plenty garbage on it ..if you no transport then dont bother there is no shops or nothing for miles

Peaceful Resort
Our first impression when we arrived was very positive. It is a secluded and recently built resort that is very well kept. We were greeted by the manager/owner who is a French lady. The rooms are modern and well equipped, decorated in western style. The garden is very nice with many plants and trees. There is a very pleasant swimming pool and a nice private beach that is cleaned every day. It is possible to go kayaking and stand up paddle for free. Beautiful sunsets in the evening from the beach. There is a very nice bar at the hotel beach with a limited food menu, but delicious cocktails. Happy hour from 5pm onwards. We would have given four stars out of five but the other problem was that we both slept badly (which is part of the core role of a four star hotel). Our room had mosquitos and we both got badly bitten in the night. We told the manager and she said it was normal in Thailand. We then asked the maid for help and she brought us a spray, which was effective in killing the hidden mosquitos. We saw later that the staff cleaning the rooms leave the doors wide open when they're cleaning them which is probably why the mosquitos go in despite the fact that the rooms all have mosquito screens.

Great place, but far
Great service. Right on the beach. The rooms were nice with modern TV and free internet. Location is far away from Bangkok and Pattaya (40-50 minutes from Cambodian border) so you need transportation if going to other places.

The only snake in paradise was moskitos and especially very nasty sand flies, so be aware here.

Very nice hotel fronting long stretch of beach
Overall excellent stay at this hotel. Rooms are quite nice, clean and very well appointed. Grounds are spacious and recreational facilities in abundance (well equiped gym room, 2 tables for table tennis, free usage of kayaks, good bicycles, volley ball ground). Special note for the restaurant serving succulent local dishes that should please western palates. Surroundings propitious for bicycle riding as low traffic on small well paved roads. Hotel staff and in particular in the restaurant is attentive and helpful. Hotel located in secluded area, hence absolutely quiet. However if reached by public transport, could easily take up to 7 hours from Bangkok.

Great place for R&R
I stayed here in early February for a week based on high ratings from both Expedia and Tripadvisor. I was not disappointed! While it is a bit off the beaten path, a plus in my book, it has everything you would expect of a 4 star hotel. The rooms are large and modern, the pool is wonderful and they have a very nice, clean beach. A great breakfast buffet with fruit, pastries, rolls, cereals and yogurt. You can also order a hot breakfast. The dinner options provide a very good selection of both Thai and Western foods. I enjoyed every meal I had at the resort. The Manager, Valerie, is extremely accommodating and personable. She really goes out of her way to ensure a great visit. This attitude is reflected by the entire staff, especially Noi at the front desk. If you want some rest from the chaos of Bangkok (or White Sand Beach) this is the place.

Excellent place to relax.
Overall rating is within reach of an excellent rating with a bit of improvement to the restaurant offering. In a country where food is both flavorfull and diversified the Mango restaurant can improve. Other aspect of the hotel, I rate excellent.

Fabulous looking hotel
Overall our stay was lovely. The hotel had one restaurant with the same menu for both lunch and evening meal. There are absolutely no other restaurants in the area so if you are staying for a long period the menu options are a bit limited. There weren't enough coat hangers in the standard room and when I asked for some additional ones the manager informed me they didn't have any more. There were no drawer space for our clothes so had to leave them in the suitcase for the duration of our stay - 4 nights. The hanging space was only long enough for trousers or shirts hence my dresses were crumpled at the bottom. Breakfast was a little limited comparing it to most of the other hotels we have stayed in but to be honest it was perfect for us as we don't eat much at breakfast time and don't find it necessary to over eat. The New Year's Eve bash the hotel put on was great a little expensive for some at £50 a head as there were no other options. We hired a hotel scooter which didn't have a front brake which my husband thought was a little dangerous and when we informed the hotel they were too busy to fix the scooter as it was booked out. The food was lovely in the restaurant and very cheap. We would have no hesitation to stay at the resort again as it is ideally located 30 kilometres from the Cambodian border. The manager of the hotel is doing a great job in trying to train the staff and we thought all the staff were lovely and very helpful.

We stayed at the Mango Beach Resort 4 nights in a front row bungalow. We enjoyed our stay because of the quietness of the place, the entire beach for ourselves, the beautiful pool, and for our very comfortable room.The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. We highly recommend this place.

Amazing calm and relaxing resort in front Ko Chang
The stay was really nice. The staff was really friendly, they upgraded us to the beach Villas. The place is quiet remote, and therefore really nice since it was as quiet as we expected and wanted, among authentic thai villages. But its very comfortable too, great rooms, with good food, and great massages. We enjoyed paddle, cayaking and fishing. We did a very tour of the Region with their Guide as well, visiting local fisherman villages, temple, jungle. It was really convenient to make a stop from Bangkok on our way to the Island Koh Chang, Koh Mak and Koh Kood in front. The hotel orgonise dthe whole trip to Koh Kood for us. And we did made another stop on our way back finally, and then head on Cambodia. the border is i think 15 or 20 km away form the hotel. Definitely recommanding this hotel to anybody looking for relaxing and comfortable holidays away from hord of tourist, great standing in real thailand

Very hard to find location because have no indication from the main road.if I din t have a thai speaking with me I would not find the place even he had to call 3 times,and took 1 hour to find.Arriving at 13:30 the room was no ready,we had to wait +30mint.the diner was bad food as well with breakfast consist no choice:1 omelet(plain)2 hotdog saucage,non cook toast and pot of hot water+instant coffe+coffemate!!

In einem grossen Umkreis gibt es auch für Besucher mit eigenem Mietwagen keine Restaurant-Alternative.Leider ist man dadurch auf die Begabung und den Geschmack der Hotel-Küche angewiesen. Die Original-Thai Gerichte sind von einem Kenner der asiatischen Küche mit Ungenügend zu bewerten. Der Geschmacksverstärker war stark übertrieben mit Thai-Maggi. Wenn man nach 5 Tagen immer noch kein geschmackliches Thai-Food bekommt vergeht einem die Laune. Aus diesem Grunde leider nicht mehr wieder.

Doordat er te weinig gasten komen zijn er geen snacks verkrijgbaar en is het barcafe gesloten. Ook zouden we vanuit onze kamer de oceaan kunnen zien, maar dat was niet het geval door de begroeiing. Best jammer dat je dan zo ver voor een drankje moet lopen. De locatie is ook niet echt gunstig en er is verder weinig op loopafstand. Verder was het personeel super en de gastvrouw goed

Wer absolute Ruhe sucht , für demjenigen ist dieses Hotel genau richtig. Der Hotelstrand ist sauber, wird jeden Tag gereinigt . Bin fast jeden Tag mit dem Fahrrad , wird vom Hotel kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt, den Strand entlang gefahren, ca 10 Km man könnte noch viel weiter fahren und Trift kaum Menschen . Sehr gut hat mir das Frühstück geschmeckt .

Fint hotel, vi var der dog som de eneste gæster hvilket ikke var det mest interessante. Specielt da der er intet liv omkring hotellet. Dejlig strand og pool og en fin strandbar. Desværre levede maden langt fra op til forventningerne.

Skønt sted, rolige omgivelser. Kan klart anbefales hvis man ønsker at slappe af. Vi har nydt vores ophold der, med smuk udsigt ud til stranden, den lækre pool og gode mad, ikke er til at klage over. Et par ting som generede os lidt, var at der ingenting ligger i nærheden. Så man skal lidt vej, hvis man har behov for indkøb. En anden ting er, at der er utrolig mange krybdyr. Dog ikke noget resortet kunne gøre noget ved. Men når de små dyr, generer ens nattesøvn, er det lidt problematisk. Der står i beskrivelsen af resortet, at det er røgfrit, dette er ikke rigtig!!!

En fantastisk pärla mitt i "ingenstans"
En pärla mitt ute i ingenstans. Fantastisk service där hotellägaren Miss Valerie får en att känna sig som en gäst på en privat mansion. Mycket bra mat och kilometerlånga helt öde stränder. Hotellet ordnade snabbt även hämtning med hotellets motorbåt av våra vänner på Koh Kood. Vi resor en hel del på olika resort och denna var en oerhörd otippad överraskning. Hotellet är i mycket fräscht skick då det byggdes 2013. Rummen och städningen är i toppklass. Att tänka på är att det ligger öde och det är ca 7 km till en affär. Hotellet kan dock lösa det mesta. De rankar sig själva med 4 stjärnor men vi ger dem 5 främst för Miss Valeries fantastiska service.
