"It is right across the street of the bus stop that will take you to the port authority in Manhattan in about 40 minutes. Other than that, not a good score, the hotel is old and unkept, dirty carpet everywhere, dusty, non functioning elevator, pool only open on the weekend, worst breakfast of all 5 hotels we stayed in our trip (we just skipped it), and pillows that are either uneven clumps of foam or hard as hey."

"We arrived at the hotel to the entire fire department at the hotel. No apologies were given and we had to wait after traveling all day because they decided with one elevator down they would put us with small children on the 5th floor. The elevator ran painfully slow and erratic the remaining time we were there and they did nothing to fix it. They offered no perks for the trouble it caused. I was stuck on the 5th floor at one point because the elevator wasn't working and the stairs were locked and when I brought this up to the staff the overall response was that there was a special way to open the door. There was no sign to indicate this special way and that's an extreme fire hazard. When I mentioned they should have a sign they seemed uninterested in my feedback. Not one staff member mentioned the shuttle to the mall we had to find our for ourselves after paying to Uber there. One shuttle attendant was great the other watched as I struggled with stroller, bags and baby and didn't offer to help. Staff overall did not show a high level of customer service and instead were very standoffish. The room was okay, not overly clean or nice. White sheets and blankets.... please stop this is just asking for messes. You can't step outside and enjoy fresh air in the front because all you smell is cigarettes and black and mild. They should have a designated smoking. I am very disappointed in this stay and they have a lot to fix before hosting families for the world cup next week."

"I stayed at this hotel over the weekend, and the experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. For the entire duration of our stay, there was no hot water available in either of our rooms. As a result, my children and the rest of my family were unable to take a proper shower for two consecutive days. This created a major inconvenience and significantly impacted what should have been a comfortable stay. When I approached the front desk to report the issue, the two staff members on duty showed absolutely no concern or empathy. Rather than apologizing for the inconvenience or offering any reassurance, they simply stated that "someone is working on it" in a dismissive and rude tone. There was no acknowledgment of how disruptive this situation was for paying guests. What made matters even worse was witnessing several other guests come to the front desk with the exact same complaint. The response they received was equally unprofessional. The front desk staff bluntly told them there was nothing they could do about the lack of hot water. They further stated that checkout time had already arrived and that guests would not be permitted to return to their rooms to verify whether the hot water had been restored unless they paid to book an additional night. The complete lack of hot water for two days was unacceptable, but the indifferent, rude, and unapologetic attitude displayed by the front desk staff was even more troubling. "I put a $300 deposit for this hotel that should have gone toward my bill. Instead, I was charged an additional $600 more than the Hotels.com receipt said I still owed. The only reason I chose this hotel was the price I was able to get but ended up paying more than I wanted. Communication between Hotels.com and the property clearly need improvement. And the pool was closed for my entire stay, which took away from the enjoyment of my trip. When I looked for available parking, I was happy to see it was available at the hotel- only to find out it was valet only, and that my car would be parked two blocks down in the Whole Foods parking garage. This was another reason I chose this property, for its on site parking, but that wasn’t the case."
