This hotel is located near the main attractions like St sophia and blue mosque. It is convenient to take trans to get around too. The room we booked had fair size with a balcony where you can sit aorund the table and get fresh air. There was a tiny elevator which made much easier for us to go up to our room on 4th floor with luggages. The towels and the sheets were kind of wornout. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. They assited us with booking taxi and cruise. The manager recommended a very nice restaurant nearby which was delicious and had a good price.

Overall it was good experience where at first we got a small family room and the room had some issues like the light was not working properly but later on the staff changed our room and provided us with more spacious room. However, the staff there is very friendly and will treat you like your own family. I would say the breakfast need some improvement like change the menu but it was good. Nonetheless, It was a memorable experience and nice stay at the hotel.

Amazing customer service
We were wowed by the amazing customer service of the hotel staff. Hotel manager Mehmet is a gem. The staff took care of everything from arranging shuttle to/from airport, ordering deliveries, exchanging currency to even arranging health care professionals to come to hotel for doing Covid tests for our travel. The hotel's proximity to Aya Sofya, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and Grand Bazaar is noteworthy. We were able to maximize our time and literally walk to most of the attractions.

Everything was perfect!! The room was big, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Perfect location, less than 10 minutes by foot to Hagia Sophia. The owners are super friendly and very helpful. We recommend this hotel to anyone who wish to have a wonderful stay in Istanbul😊

Small hotel, great staff!
All the staff of this little hotel makes shine! They are all excellent and would make your stay feel comfortable. The room is a little outdated but they are clean and comfortable. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia.

overnight stay in Istanbul
This is a nice little hotel in old Istanbul. Location is perfect and 5-6 mins to the Blue Mosque and Haggia Sofia. There are a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel staff are great and help with everything. We took airport shuttle from hotel and the price and service was great. Overall great experience and even better staff

Great Service and nice staff
This little hotel is in a central location where you could walk to the seafront or walk to the Hagia Sophia, and the surrounding tourist streets. We walked all the way to the Grand Bazaar too. It may not be for everyone but we walked almost everywhere. That is not all, the staff are the nicest people. The manager Mehmet goes way beyond his duty to help us book tours, find transport and took a burden off our shoulders, to help us get to the right place when we had to leave after three wonderful nights at this hotel. If you are looking for fancy hotel, go to the big ones. This is a small service oriented place staffed with kind, helpful people. Thanks to Faruk we found a wonderful place within walking distance, to dine. Thank You!

This is your second room reservation with your grup. I am explaining again. Dear guest first of all there are some rules of all hotels. You can not ignore this rules. We have chairs and table at the balcony for outside. You can not move hotel armchairs to balcony because the sun or rain damage its. You forgot armchaiisr at the balcony and it rained on it we got back to room but it was so late. These armchairs are very expencive and not for outside. You can not bring alot of guest from outside to hotel room. You can sit to hotel lobby with your other guests but you can not invite to room and you can not take room furnutures to balcony for your guestst that We never accept this event. I know you did not like it and you are saying lies for hotel. You are complaining to flyes but everyday you are bringing food ( meat kebabs…. ) to room and call your friends that they dont staying our hotel withought asking to us…. After your small party in the room we have problems with ants and flyes…. When we respect this reosan you were not happy… You says that hotel is 15 minutes away from blue mosque but when you open Google map and click hotel location and click blue mosque you will see it will be 3 minutes away from hotel. Navigation says it only 3 minutes by walk…. Please ı advice to you before bring your friends to hotel room ask to reception and dont take hotel furnuture to out of the room or please ask because you says furnutures are okey but unfortunately our wood and wool armchairs were fully wet with rain and we had to payment for service…. And ı advice to you dont slander about to hotel for your problems.. Also you can see other reviews and see our hotel is very good…. Best regards Hotels owner

Very friendly and helpful staff. Best feature is the location of the hotel. Few minutes away from Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Haya Sophia, Marmara Beach cruise, Restaurants etc. They arranged airport pickup and drop off for us.

The hotels owner is an extreme trouble maker. Once we bought some food and were very exited to eat, the boss said it was a "Problem" to eat in the hotel room!! The next day we brought chairs that were in the hotel room to the balcony since we did not have enough chairs, then we went out and it started raining and when we came back the boss (owner) said it was a big "problem". When we checked on the chairs they were perfectly fine! There was no problem with them. The breakfast was horrible! I saw a fly on piece of cheese, and the boiled eggs were old and not fresh at all plus no enough varieties, its the same basic breakfast every day. The hotel is not really near to blue mosque as advertised, its 15 minutes walking. The first day AC was dribbling water the whole night, luckily they fixed it the next day. The room bedding is really cheap and uncomfortable at all , the blankets were like a curtains! With very rough texture that we couldn't use them at all. If I should mention one good thing about the hotel then I would say the reception staff (mainly Mr. Naamat ) who tried his best to fix his " boss " bad behavior, also he is very helpful and willing to give sincere advices.

Ipekyolu Hotel
They never changed the bed-liners, the cleaner lady was someone you didn’t want see first in the morning she never reapplied to your greetings. Others staff were friendly and nice, but some receptionist try to sell you tours and laundry service with high price. The Airport shuttle reservations cost me €40. When I was going back to Airport it was 134 Turkish liras which was around €20, and that was on a normal yellow taxi running his miter. The location was great about 8-10 minutes walk from Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet museums. Breakfast was also good.

Rooms are cleaning everyday and she puts Clean sets everyday but if she forget please inform to desk same time that we can do and ask her during to staying. We are working one good company for airport service their rate is 40 euros. They are very professional company and their rate is 40 euros.There is airport service 80 euros too ... There is airport service 150 euros too...Our company is 40 euros reasonable price... We ask to people if they want they can use it, because many guests are having big problems with taxi drivers and they lost lots money many times. We can not control taxi drivers but we can ask about any problem to our company for aur guests. You were lucky when you turn to back to airport because we heards sometimes they have paid too much money to taxi drivers...When the people ask laundry service we call to laundry company they add their pick up service and drop service too. İf you take to their office yourselves you dont pay more..... We never press to people for any service we are working different company and different rates. We inform to people if they want we call them also if they have any problem that our contact companys we charge back for our guests too. Thank you very much for choise to us and for your revievs too.

Met up with our family for a visit to Istanbul. Rooms were comfortable ,a/c great, Wifi also good.Not far from local attractions and a great fruit/ veggie store just outside the hotel. A little corner store, borek stand and a really nice restaurant beside us. Breakfast was simple but good.Our sons room had a deck, so very nice to sit out and look at the ocean, room for the kids.Towels a little frayed and some pillows were with stains and no pillow cases. The people who run this are very kind people, we enjoyed our stay. Budget hotel ,so don’t expect fancy, but it did the job!

Location is great at SULTANAHMET probably 10 mins walk to blue mosque and other attractions. Good breakfast and the hotel manager is awesome. Gives you advice and helps you out. Cares for the guest. If you’re looking for something less pricey however great location and service? Choose this

Good location in Sultanahmet. Lovely staff. Near all the best sites and shops. Only wish the sound of whatever machine they put on in the lobby didn't reverberate in my room but once I told them they turned it off straight away. My room was huge and it had a fridge and kettle and most importantly it had great heating during the winter.

We were 5 people and the room was quite big and comfortable for us. We had a big terrace which has beautiful sights of istanbul sea. Entire hotel was so clean and the staffs are so nice. We would like to stay here again.

We were 5 people and the room for us was enough big and comfortable. We had a big terrace outside which has a beautiful sights of istanbul sea. The hotel staffs were great. When we asked for a coffee, they prepared for us and breakfast was nice. Entire hotel was so clean.

Amazing hotel
I loved the hotel. The room was gorgeous and very clean and literally had everything i need. The only thing I didn't like was the location because it was sorta hill bottom and I was dragging a heavy piece of luggage. But the hotel was great and the guys were super nice. Even when I missed breakfast they still gave me one

Perfect location!
Great room on the top floor-clean, priv balcony-however the walls are incredibly thin, so you can hear the neighboring room quite well. I was initially put into a dark room on the 1st floor which was loud from the floor above and the lobby below. When I asked for another room that was bright and quiet they showed me the 2 rooms above that were exactly the same-Ugh! After some persistence on my part I was given the room on the top floor. There was a mix of helpful and not so helpful staff but over-all nothing that was so off putting that I wouldn't recommend a stay...on the top floor, of course-;-) Location is PERFECT to B Mosque, Turkish baths, ocean, train, tour bus, bazaar (I would recommend the locals bazaar a few blocks away for drastically better deals) restaurants are plentiful and a laundry is less than a block away.

We were very pleased with the service, cleanliness, and amenities at the hotel. The location is very convenient to all of the major sites and many dining options.

IPEKYOLU hotel is excellent !!!
the first day i reached ipekyolu hotel , everybody recieved me cheerfully and tried their best to make me feel at home , the receptionists and the boss were so sooo kind and asked me everyday wether they can help me with anything ! a special thanks to Serkan , Ahmet , and the boss ( sorry about the name and his father ) ; the rooms were cleaned everyday , so that when i come back after havind visited the touristic attractions which are surrounding the hotel , i find everything super clean !! and the furniture is all new , modern and comfortable !! i recommand absolutezly this hotel to everybody ! i can say i spent a successful couple of weeks with my mum .
