We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Very close to historic old city, main attractions within walking distance, many options for coffee, dining. Just know, standard rooms are pretty small, which is fine if you are coming for just a short visit. We came for 2 weeks and had to upgrade to a larger room. Also know, all rooms have a very small closet and no drawers to put clothes away (we had to use third bed in our room for that), which is ok for a short stay. Bathrooms were kind of small, but comfy with good hot shower, and water pressure, no problems with plumbing at all. Rooms and hotel are pretty clean, and cleaning ladies were wonderful and very sweet! Breakfast buffet was pretty good, nice coffee machine with all different options, eggs, cereal, salads, cheeses and local cold cuts, fruits, breads and pastries, nuts, deserts, juices. Hotel has a small, basic gym, small pool, sauna, and a steam room that we used. Overall, pleasant stay at the hotel, thank you!

I wouldn’t book this place smells like a sewage rooms very old needs updating, also Expedia are useless no help when you want to change as I wasn’t happy with the hotel so raised it due to my wife being pregnant but Expedia said here we will help but did not do anything and hotel stuff didn’t really care. Being a frequent flyer this was the first time I booked with them and will be last time and hands on heart worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

The hotel staff are kind & friendly. The hotel itself needs some updating to compete with nearby properties set at this price point. There is no restaurant, the spa facilities were not working, while there is a hammam, massage facilities etc, there is no spa attendants. The internet was continually cutting out, & as a business traveler, this was not ideal. I was also given a twin room, which as an solo adult traveler, not the most comfortable. The room itself was very dark, especially the bathroom.

Cost effective with a tiny pool and gym. Breakfast was poor and took too long serving each person individually. No pastries or fresh honey dripping from a honey comb like other hotels. Front desk limited in English speakers and unable to understand much. Room was cleaned however the glasses and cups were just turned over with dry tea and dirt bits easily visible. Location was amazing. Worth a stay for the price but don’t expect too much from the hotel.

Gorgeous Hotel... Except for the Rooms...
The hotel is gorgeous. The restaurant is beautiful and delicious. The hamam and all of the other facilities are wonderful. It's a wonderful hotel.. Except for the rooms, which seem to be held over from the 1970s. Many Turkish hotels suffer this condition. Gorgeous hotels, outdated rooms. So I can't recommend it for the price listed, there are other better options, even on the exact same block. But it's not awful, just not as good as it should be. With a room renovation, it would be amazing. Everything else is so good. Shout-out also to the manager who chased us to the sidewalk after we checked out and said "Give us a 5-star review", as a demand, not a question, with the meanest look possible... Or... what? What happens exactly if we don't?! So anyway, no, angry manager lady, it's not a 5 star review. And threatening us won't get you one. But it's a nice hotel and the other service staff were wonderful and very helpful.

This was my second time staying in Antea, our first time experience was good but second time wasn’t. I told them we are coming for honeymoon and if they can decorate the room however, nothing special was done.

Positive: Good Location Negatives: Ants on beds, AC systems didn't work properly in first room we were given, dirty pool area, very small pool, pool drained and not working, sauna and steam room not working, staff not always friendly and didn't seem to understand what we wanted.

The room was so not what booked. It was stated for 3 persons. The room was very small - 2 persons were already pushing it. Question- I dont know how to check what was booked online. It only gives me booking number and hotel info and didn’t give me what kind of rooms I booked.

The location is very convenient, very close to Sultanahmet Square. The guys at the reception were very helpful. They were ready to help us with all reservations we asked them. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The perfect stay very convenient and clean
Loved our room! Very clean, good communication buttons for room service, and beautiful area. Perfect location! Close to train station, shops, and tourist attractions. Tip: Uber did not drive to the hotel. We had to take a taxi to get to the hotel. There's another hotel with a similar name -palace. Make sure you tell them its Antea Hotel.

I’ve this hotel for a quick business trip to Istanbul due to its location. The room itself is clean and the bed very comfortable. Unfortunately my room was close to the elevator, so It’s not completely calm and due to noise from the floor, running water pipes and air condition. The breakfast was all right. WiFi worked great. Overall, I would stay again.

Excellent location, all landmarks within short walking distance. Small negative s. Walls are thin, drywalls, so you can hear your neighbors and people in the passage and rooms are small. But the convenience of the place overshadowed the negatives.

I booked 3 rooms at Antea Hotel for 5 nights. The rooms were bit small compared to other hotels but overall it was kept nice and clean. The staff were simply amazing, always smiling and greeting you. They are also very accommodating. If you are traveling with kids than I suggest Antea hotel as the location is great. Grand bazar is about 10 minutes walk, mosques are also 10 minutes walk the opposite direction. Local restaurants and shops are 3 minutes away, open until late nights. If I ever go back and visit Istanbul, I would definitely stay at Antea Hotel again.

Hotel smells and the rooms were tiny. The breakfast was basic and disappointing. Kids did not like this hotel and staff were not friendly or approachable. No iron in the room and some days we went without as wait was too long. My girls wanted to swim but the indoor pool was freezing cold and the hotel staff also decided to turn down the water temperature which meant my girls had cold showers showers. Would not recommend to anyone.

I stayed at this hotel 4 nights, in Sep. 2016 1- The rooms were very tight and not comfortable with very poor view. 2- The bathroom was very wet. 3- The breakfast was very poor and not tasty. 4. There is only 1 elevator in the hotel, and sometimes not working properly. 5- The breakfast staff were not professionals, and they were dealing with the tourists by bad way. 6- The reception staff were ok, but I saw them smoking in their place and they were trying to hide the cigarette under the desk.

i had a very enjoyable experience here. staff was extremely good and very helpfull and hotel was very close to all local attractions and shops. room was a bit small for three of us but apart from that it was a nice place to stay and i would definetly come back here.
