I chose this hotel because it was near the Hong Kong Expo Convention Center, where I was attending Art Basel, never having been to HK. It was close the convention center and the price was very good, and the reviews were good. I thought it was a terrific place. Room was clean, new, and quiet. Everyone had to use a plastic key to use the elevator, which made me feel like it was secure, and there is a snack center on the 5th floor open all the time with newspapers, TV, coffee, and cookies, and croissants for breakfast. I would stay there again.

To be quite honest I was disappointed at first with the room they gave me but after requesting a room change and showing them a picture of the room that I booked and paid for they upgraded me to a executive deluxe room at no additional cost, the staff were very accommodating and always polite. My only concern would be the choice of food that was available at the breakfast sittings and this was not free, however it is Hong Kong and Kowloon City has plenty of great restaurants so this was easily rectified. My overall experience was a good one and I will be returning again soon.

The iclub Fortress Hill is located just 4-5 minutes from the Fortress Hill station of the Island Line of the MTR. Very convenient and easy to find even for new travelers to HK coming straight from the airport. The hotel is very new, and it has the basics that anyone will need for either a quick business trip or a pleasure trip to HK. A lot of travelers now just need a place to put their luggage in, a bed, a hot shower, connection to WiFi, and possibly free tea and coffee! And iclub has all of these. The room is not spacious but it serves the purpose. The beds have immaculately white linen, the pillows are fluffy, the towels are pure cotton, the room is built-in with separate temperature control, and the bathroom has all the necessary fixtures. Finally, check-in is a breeze, no fuzz, just quick and easy!
I now have found my regular place to stay whenever I will be in HK.
Indeed a reasonable yet elegant place to stay in HK!

This hotel is the first place I would look at if I was to return to Hong Kong. Two minute walk to Central MTR, around the corner from the bars and clubs of Soho. Request a room on a high floor and get the bonus of good views over Hong Kong. We stayed at the Butterfly for two nights also and it didn't come close to this place.
