The hotel itself is OK but the price was very high. Add to that the fact that my room, and others, had hot water problems that caused me to change rooms made the experience less than ideal

Great place for your Hannover stay
Perfect family stay with friends at the Doubletree. The hotel is spacious and has been kept up to date. The location is also good. The breakfast was decent. We will stay here again when we visit Hannover.

Had stayed at another, supposedly 4* hotel in Hannover before staying at the Doubletree and the experience e was night and day. The hotel is really bright and modern, friendly staff, great breakfast. A very comfortable place to stay. Would highly recommend

Great room, friendly staff.
Great breakfast altho a bit pricy. The room was spacious and modern. I wish housekeeping would actually come around noon versus the earlier morning schedule, as jet lag pushed my schedule back a bit. The sign they left said they would come back later but never did… (happened 4 out of the 6 days).

Over-priced middle-of-the-road experience
All in all I'd say staying at the Crowne Plaza was a middle-of-the-road kind of experience. There was nothing particularly wrong with this soulless business hotel, but it didn't stun us in any way either. The rooms were clean and the mattress was of a high standard. The bathroom, on the other hand, was beginning to show its age: no working extractor fan, no eco-flush, mouldy grout between wall tiles, some cracks along the edges of trimmings etc. The selection of English-language TV channels was rather poor, not to mention that the listing of channel numbers was in need of an update. For the price I would have expected more.

large rooms with modern interior. very clean, new furnishings and decorations. large desk with USB sockets very good ventilation and air con system, inaudible bathroom a bit on the small size compared to room size, but very clean, new and has everything one wants. very nice shower. very good black out curtains. quiet street, no noise at night yet very good location 3 minutes walk to main railway station for local, national and international trains and many shops and food outlets, which are open on Sundays and bank holidays 5 minutes walk to city park 10 minutes walk through railway station to pedestrian shopping streets and restaurants

The room was OK, but it faced a bar and there was no warning about it ––not on Expedia, and I wasn't warned upon check-in either. Loud music and above all VERY LOUD conversations could be heard until 3 am. I did NOT sleep at all. Upon check-out, the staff told me that they should have blocked those rooms (duh!) and that the noise was unexpected (REALLY?! NOISE from a BAR is UNEXPECTED?!) NEVER AGAIN.

Dear Emilio, Weregret very much that your sleep was interrupted by noise from outside the hotel. Officially, the club is only open on saturday nights and we usually do not assign the rooms directly above the bar on these days. Sometimes, however, they open for special events, and if they do not inform us about these dates, we are unable to act proacvtively by not assigning the rooms. The only thing we can do in this case it to offer a move to another room. Good HANNOVER hotel
This is one of the better Crowne Plazas I have stayed in. Well above US standards, excellent service, except for one girl receptionist with curly hair who was snoddy. I avery good restaurant in the hotel and a good Indian one nearby. To get there, use a gps

The room I got is not in a good condition for the aircon it’s generate a lot of noise so it make my sleep not so good. Further more as IHG member When I arrive earlier they can’t give me a room and just send to the spa for refresh myself before I go office. It’s very disappointed with their way handling the customer.
