The location was a bit far away from downtown, but we walked it. The facilities were nice and well maintained.

absolutely loved this place. Owen the bartender downstairs was awesome and the hotel itself was beautiful. its a horrible shame that its being torn down starting this week 10/1/18 to build college dorms! i would definitely stay there again had the owner not sold out to the highest bidder..

Westwood - Good Value in Galway
Lovely old hotel with lovely staff - helpful and friendly. Onsite restaurant was good food and fair price. Onsite parking was welcome and the location is not far from city centre.

Music blaring at 1am, no AC
Very disappointing considering the cost. Room so dang hot with no SC, sink had a crack in it and music coming up through the floors until 1am...never again, avoid at all costs.

Enjoyed our night here. Check in was easy and staff was helpful. Beds were comfortable and they found us a fan as rooms were warm! Wonderful breakfast in the morning. Would stay again.

This is an older hotel that may soon be closing to be turned into student housing, not sure though. This hotel is showing its age and though the room was clean, the furniture was wore out and stained as well as the carpet. The upside for us is that it is located next to a bus terminal that will get you to city centre very quickly and back again.

Lovely hotel surroundings, views from the deck are beautiful. My two children (12&15) looked forward to staying in a hotel with a pool after several nights in small B&B’s. Unfortunately, when they finally had a chance to swim there was very little they could enjoy as many areas were marked adults only. The restaurant was quite small with very slow service. The deck was inviting with exceptional views however we couldn’t enjoy dinner there in the evening as none of the outdoor heaters were filled with gas! As this was by no means an inexpensive room, I definitely wouldn’t recommend. Not child friendly at all.

The hotel is just off the main road, so it was noisy. Very comfortable, the staff in the breakfast room could have been abit more helpful, maybe a smile or two on a couple of faces might have helped. Overall the stay was good

The worst bedding ever!
Kind employees, but none seemed really able to talk about any excursion outside of Galway proper. The bed was awful and the pillows ridiculously awful. Terrible night's sleep. On the upside, the breakfasts were plentiful with a decent selection.

Nice old hotel with restaurant and bar attached. It was very busy when we checked in and receptionist was efficient but not welcoming. No assistance offered with luggage. Fortunately we could access our too by lift. Nice hotel room. Good for money. Clean and tidy. Pillows a bit hard. Food in restaurant was good and service excellent in here.
