Very quiet and highly convenient location, close to public transportation and friendly staff. Lobby was clean, well lit and inviting. The room and bathroom was very clean, comfortable and while compact, didn't feel too small. The breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day with lots of simple options. Definitely would stay here again.

This is a ibis property, and was a decent stay. The staff was very helpful, and the check-in area was good for a short coffee break. The location was good for our trip, near the main Frankfurt train station and not too far from the city center. The breakfast was actually really above and beyond. The hotel layout was a little confusing, and we did not get our reserved room type (4 single beds vs 1 double & 1 pullout). Overall good stay.

Ok if you need somewhere to stay
Everyone at reception was nice, except we saw someone go into our room when we had one day left, he shut off our key cards. when asked why he said "oh you have one more day". but i dont know why he had to go into our room. We asked to switch rooms due to a shower without a door & a guy smoking on our balcony. They did this without asking, but i found all the beds very uncomfortable. The included breakfast was really nice! Located in a kinda sketchy area after dark, but near the train station. also wifi was spotty.

Hotel good, area very multicultural.
Hotel location for ease of getting around was very good, however, our room on the 2nd floor overlooked a restaurant which was a bit noisy. We could keep the window closed which made it a bit stuffy, but would be too noisy with it open. Free breakfast was very good. Wifi hit and miss. Cleanliness very good. Hot water took about 2 minutes to come through, that might depend on where you are in the building.

Good Hotel
The hotel itsel was fine / breakfast very good / staff very helpful / bedroom / bathroom clean. -Hi-Fi access very good. BUT of twenty-two television stations available only two were in English: CNBC (Business / Financial) and Children's Nickelodeon channel. The area leaves a bit to be desired so get familiar with bus and U-bahn routes and the ticket machine

When I booked this facility I thought I booked with the “ambassador hotel” but it turned out to be Ibis. The only place you’d see the “ambassador” name is a small plaque in the wall. When I enquired about the name, the staff simply said it is under the same owner group. This is absolutely misleading!!! Ambassador’s cost is more than Ibis and if I wanted to stay at Ibis, I would have booked Ibis.

Dear Sir, Hotel Ambassador and Ibis Styles are 2 Hotels in one building with the same breakfast room , but different types of rooms and rates.

Simple hotel for simple traveler
The location of the hotel is very near to Frankfurt main station, makes it easy to access. The room has the basic amenities for simple traveler who needs a place to sleep and rest. Breakfast is sufficient if one is not picky about food.

This was the worst hotel I ever stay in Frankfurt, first I reached hotel at 1pm and the reception told me I can only check in at 3pm even there is a free room, don’t this hotel have a flexibility for guest and even I reached there at 1pm most of the other hotels will allow us to check in and sometimes even earlier, then was the non smoking problem when I booked this hotel on the website it says Smoking and Non Smoking is available but when check in they told me is a Non Smoking hotel and this is misleading to us. TV channel is limited and is not like other hotel in Frankfurt I ever stay is with English & Asian channel. The breakfast was lousy with all the cold food and very limited. Lastly would like to mention on one of the receptionist which is a Russian she is very rude and I think she have a attitude problem. Overall is bad and I would not stay here again even with all Frankfurt’s hotel is full.

Everything was fine. To be frank, it surpassed my expectations considering what you pay. Really nice staff, bed, brand new bathroom, nice generous breakfast and location was perfect close to the centre and the main train station. I will go back, but it would be good to put in the rooms one of these Do not disturb hanging things so you don't have to be suffering thinking that house keeping may catch you at anytime doing whatever, as it happened to me. But I will go back!

Part of Ibis chain
This hotel is part of the Ibis chain. I did not know this when I booked through Hotels.com. It was clean, had air conditioning and a decent breakfast. If you have mobility issues be sure to contact hotel because we had to climb stairs to the lift and then climb stairs to our room after exiting the lift. I was traveling b with my parents and probably would not have booked if I had known it was an Ibis but it was clean and we survived. The AC was terrific!!! Location was also great!

Stayed in room 705 - room was clean and pleasant until nighttime. Was awoken several times during the night by the smell of cigarette smoke. Absent this, I would stay at this hotel again (requesting a room on a lower floor). Liked location close to main train station.

FRESH AND BRIGHT HOTEL WITH GOOD BREAKFAST
i HAD GOOD STAY AT THIS HOTEL. iNSIDE OF HOTEL FELT FRESH AND BRIGHT. I DID NOT LIKE THE SHUTTERS. THEY COULD BE HEARD WHEN NEIGHBOURS WERE CLOSING THEM. THE BREAKFAST WAS REALLY GOOD. LOTS OF THINGS TO CHOOSE FROM AND TASTY!

Nice stay, still the facility might be improved
We ordered three-bed rooms. There are two beds and one sofa bed. Apparently, they put the sofa beds in two-bed rooms, which makes the rooms quite crowded. The facility and design of the shower room need to be improved. The curtain does not cover the bathtub completely, so after the shower, the water goes everywhere.

The hotel had building works going on at the same time as I was there with my business partner. There were hammering and drilling noises which you could hear throughout the hotel and which woke me up in the morning. Unfortunately, the hotel did not make us aware of these building works at the booking or check in stage, which they should have. Other than that, everything was great.

Price point is good but has a few issues
This hotel was fine for a night. The good: about two blocks from main train station & easy to walk to; pleasant peeps at reception & helpful with directions; free tea, coffee, & water in check-in area; basic "German style" buffet breakfast which was adequate; wifi was ok; The Not So Good: I had room 31 which is in the front of the building and experienced a lot of street noise which eventually died down; bathroom is really small as well as the shower... by the end of your shower you're standing in 2 - 3 inches of water (when I checked in a man was complaining of his shower not draining so this must be a hotel-wide problem); however- I should point out that the shower was hot and the hand-held worked well... I guess I would stay here again but not if I had to be in a room that fronts the street. If the hotel was able to improve the drainage problem in the shower it would go a long way in making the bathroom experience more comfortable.

1. There is no luggage rack for a triple room 2. There is no face tissue 3. There is no space inside toilet for placing toiletaries like toothbrush, dental floss etc 4. There are only 2 towels for 3 travellers. When requesting an extra towel from the hotel (a female staff at the reception), we are asked to go downstairs and collect the towel OURSELVES 5. When we ask for tourist information, the staff said they don't have any. But later we find that there are leaflets of tourist information outside the toilet at G/F

Modern, convenient and quite comfortable Hotel
I came there from U.S. This is a VERY NICE with MODERN design & well equipped Hotel for a reasonable price. Very clean and quiet room on 2ND floor which has everything for comfortable stay. Internet iv quite FAST and reception through WI FI is very stable. Friendly staff. Great Breakfast in the morning - lots of fresh delicious food and beverages. I was pleased with everything in there. And I will certainly recommend this hotel for anybody.

Where is my hotel???
The main problem was that the Ambassador hotel does not exist. It was bought by the IBIS next door. Good news is that the BIS had our reservations. It was only luck that we decided to just check in at the Ibis and tell them about our difficulty that we were informed that they had our reservation.
