Superior B&B
This was the best b&b stay I’ve had in Italy in 19 years of traveling here. Service and Dailey breakfast was superior. The location is beyond superior. Views of Duomo. Best views from rooms 301-303. Great restaurant across the street. Order local popular dishes indicated in the menu. Also two great cafe’s right next door.

Lovely B&B
The location is great and very walkable to most sights. The breakfast was good and the rooms were efficient. There is one downside... if you are a light sleeper (be forewarned that there will likely be a nightly musician outside your bedroom window that you will hear very clearly) however, they did leave earplugs on the nightstand which we did use and helped.

The hotel is very central, almost in front of the Duomo, the Cathedral. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a quaint snack shop right next door, opens early and closes late.

Excellent location
The only downside is the lack of aircondition. That is pretty important when temperature outside is 39C. Also, hotel is locked after 11pm, so if you arrive late then you'd be required to check in and pick up the keys in other location which is in about 500m away. That is not a problem, but families with small kids must take that in consideration.

Wonderful Experience
The location was central and easy to access major landmarks. The service at the desk was wonderful;quick check in, baggage was held and placed in our rooms and recommendations to restaurants, sights and entertainment was most helpful. This hotel was charming, characteristic and a pleasurable experience.

RUSPOLI BED AND BREAKFAST
It was very comfortable not the best but really quite adequate for the stay as all we wanted was a bed. SO SO central one could pop back when we wanted to. bit noisy one night on Saturday evening but only to be expected but you can people watch from the window. Shower very adequate does not have all the thrills of luxury but it worked and not complicated. Breakfast fine for the day so simple. Right by the Duomo how easy is that

Location is Key
Great location ... close to Duomo and all sights are easily within walking distance. Having breakfast included was wonderful. Guiliana was extremely helpful and assisted us when airline lost the luggage. Downsides are noise at night when windows are open if kids are hanging out at the Duomo but this generally stops around midnight and dated bathrooms. No frills like restaurant, bar, etc. but Florence is just outside your door to provide these services. We would stay again.

Great location 5 minutes from train station
Don't know why this is not rated higher, the only thing I didn't like was the shower. It was a stand-alone shower which had walls that needed to be put into position every time you needed to use it. Very small so not much room to move around. 5 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute taxi ride to the airport. Had an excellent centrally located location with numerous shops and restaurants. Opened our window over looking the Duomo Cathedral; very impressive. Staff was very helpful recommending restaurants as well as getting us a taxi to the airport. Breakfast was more like a brunch; very filling and satisfying. This is a very old building (from the outside) with a huge solid wooden door and a key which lets you in the main entrance then another key to let you to your wing of the hotel. Safety was no concern. It has been completely updated while having the history of a castle upon entering. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very beautiful. The view from our room was to the Duomo. The rooms are large, comfortable bed. The breakfast serve a good coffee, it includes bread, ham, croissants and juice.

Cant beat the location- amazing view!!
We had a great stay! The office hours were a little goofy but it really wasn't a big deal, they have them posted everywhere and let us know when we reserved and when we checked in. We got the keys to the building and the room so we could come and go as needed. They told us if we needed anything during off-hours that we could go to their sister hotel across the square. Front desk person was very nice and helpful, spoke English, showed us where the breakfast would be served and showed us our room. Lobby is a bit run down but whatever, we were barely in there. The room itself was huge and the decor was cheerful. The bathroom was outdated but everything was clean. Big towels. The bed was very comfortable. The best part was our view- we opened the windows and was looking at dome! Unreal!!! It was fab. The location is perfect for sightseeing, close to everything, like 50 steps to the Duomo. Because its in the center of town it is noisy at night. If you're looking for a quiet place, stay somewhere out of the main area. There was a festival with singing and dancing that we could watch from our window after we retired from the square. I read some mention of a sewage smell in previous reviews but it was not an issue for our stay- the city must have taken care of it (thank God!!). There was maid service and they made up the bed and gave us fresh towels in the am. Breakfast had a pretty decent selection. Overall a great trip! Ciao!

Stinky Room with no solution from the staff
The room was big by European standards and it was clean. The big problem was the stench coming from the bathroom. I guess we should have known something was up when all the windows were open and the A/C was on despite the temperature being hot outside. We left our stuff in the room and went out exploring the city. When we returned the room smelled like sewer gas. It was making us all sick. The problem is that no one was available to correct the problem (they have very limited hours). They do have a "sister" hotel that we called. Their solution was to pour some powdery stuff down the bathroom drains. I don't know if this helped or the fact that we kept all the windows open helped just enough to go to sleep. Needless to say the stench was back in the morning. We informed the staff at check out and their only response was that they would let someone know. Stay away from this place!

Good for the price - but no A/C
Palazzo Ruspoli B&B has a great location (100 feet from Palazzo Duomo!), and the rooms are really big and classic, and breakfast was very hood. But know what you're getting into. This isn't a true B&B, but guest rooms carved out of an office building (a nice, classic Florence building). There is hardly and public space, as the reception is tiny, and carved out of the 3rd floor of this building. Rooms are on the 3rd & 4th floor (maybe more?), but NOT AIRCONDITIONED. this may not matter much at certain times if the year, but in July, it was brutal. Also, parking was not close, expensive (€25/day +) and you have you have to park before you get to the hotel (ie, no bag drop off). Still, the price is good for the location; just be informed. The B&B is apparently owned by the same group that owns the FABULOUS Hotel Brunelleschi. After finding no A/C, I asked and was moved to the Brunelleschi for a €100 surcharge, and was VERY happy. All staff was very kind and helpful.

Perfect location right next to Doumo
We couldn't have found a better place to stay in Florence. Great views of Doumo from our room, we could practically reach out and touch it. The room was beautifully decorated, very spacious and clean. Very impressed with Palazzo Ruspoli will be staying here again on our next visit to Florence.

Convenient area of walkable Florence
We were very happy with the hotel and our 2-night stay. The front-desk person was very helpful, giving us suggestions for places for dinner. We went to both places she recommended, and were very pleased. The room was clean and comfortable. It did not have a computer available for internet, but did have wireless.

Around the corner from the Duomo
I loved this hotel! The hotel is about a ten or fifteen minute walk from the train station and it is literally right around the corner from the Duomo. From our window you could see the Duomo. It was a great location! The room was very nice and the hotel was nice. It only has a few rooms and is a bed and breakfast. The breakfast is in a very pretty room and the food was good. The hotel staff was okay. The lady at the front desk was brisk but professional. I would recommend this hotel!

Exceptional Value in Florence
This B & B exceeded our expectations. The receptionist/hostess was very attentive, professional and friendly. It was really more of a hotel than a B&B atmosphere. I could look out of my room and see the Duomo. The location was magnificent. The breakfast room is charming and the food and coffee great. The rooms are clean and in keeping with the atmosphere of Florence in an old world charm. We had two rooms, to accomodate our family of five and they perfect and kept us in our budget.

EXCELLENT location...I literally opened the window and was looking at the Duomo. Great price with lovely spacious rooms. I loved the bells from the Campanile but if you are not as fond of loud bells ringing throughout the day you may want to consider the hotel's proximity to the Duomo. Nice breakfast...typical of Italian hotels.

Excellent location however we froze the whole time. They could not turn on the heat (central heating) and there was no hot water, so the shower was ice cold. The room was clean and the location was great, you can walk everywhere. However, I would not stay here again because of the heating issue unless it was going to be a warm summer month. The front desk is not staffed full time either.

A Taste of Italian Lifestyle
We had a fantastic time at Palazzo Ruspoli and would absolutely recommend it to anyone. The room was beautifully appointed with lovely furnishings and a gorgeous breakfast room with yummy food. An added bonus was its location - in the centre of the city a couple of metres from the Duomo and surrounded by the most exquisite boutiques, shops, markets and museums.

Huge room and great location
We enjoyed our recent stay at Palazzo Ruspoli - B&B. The hotel is located in the middle of Florence, less than a block from the Duomo and you could walk everywhere. The staff were very helpful booking museums for times that were not available on the websites and in recommending hotels. The room was huge with 15 foot ceilings and a window that opened to the Duomo. I would definitely stay there again.

Muy buen B&B, un detalle es el horario de atención en la recepción, de 8:00 a 11:00 y de 14:00 a 18:30, lo que es un poco incomodo si llegas en tren de la mañana o queres dejar las maletas un rato después de las 11:00 (nosotros nos íbamos a las 12:00), creo que mejorando ese detalle y las duchas en los baños (en nuestra habitación, si bien era de buen tamaño, la ducha no cerraba y se inundó con cada baño), levantaría mucho
