pros - staff are very friendly and helpful - has a TV - has Wifi in the room - regular room servicing - mini fridge - clean bathroom but still has some mould and broken hose but still works - has transport to take you to the airport for $20 Cons - sliding door was broken so very hard to close it - room is small - linen and towels were faded from white - i bought my own towels - noticed some mould on bed sheets under the main sheets Overall , pretty good for a cheap , budget place to stay . I would stay again .

We used here as a stop over after flying in to nadi. Was completely appropriate for that. Rooms are basic but could do with an update. Staff were super friendly and helped us out with whatever we needed. Woulsnt stay for a long time but great for getting your head down

Great little hotel! Right in the beach and had a nice pool. The staff were all so lovely. There isn’t much to do around the hotel but if you’re just looking to chill by the pool for the day then it’s perfect. Your groups do pick you up from the hotel too

The food at the hotel restaurant was pretty awful and very overpriced. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and ate there three times and every time was a disappointment. The beachfront which was the selling point, was not one you'd lay out on. It was surrounded by garbage on either side. The room was spacious but the beds weren't comfortable and the sheets were stained. The shower was busted - the drainage was so poor that the bottom of the stall would fill up with water within minutes. If you didn't turn the water off and let it drain a bit it would have spilled over the edge onto the bathroom floor. Not much in the area to do except be near the pick up for an island hopping tour. Other nearby available restaurants were also not much to report home about. Every cab we took in the area overcharged us and these were the ones the hotel consistently recommended.

The hotel is below 2-star. The "sea view" room had small ants everywhere, including in the bedding. The music from the restaurant of the hotel is very loud and continues until late. Even if they turned that off, the next-door hotels (which are incredibly close) had the same blaring noise until very late. We had an early-morning flight, so not much sleep in a hard bed with minimal bedding (plus ants). Hardly anyone was eating in the hotel restaurant, and we went elsewhere too.

Aquarius on the Beach was a nice hotel. Port Denaru is easily accessible from here. The hotel itself is very basic. The rooms are small. The hotel is priced accordingly with what you get. The location is the best part about this hotel. I would give it 6/10.

It's so close to the airport, small hotel with beach access, convenient and walking distance to other restaurants etc. there was some construction next door which you can hear from the pool area, but it wasn't excessively loud and still enjoyed a very relaxing day there!

Aquarius on the Beach hotel is a great budget hotel, conveniently located near Nadi airport and Denauru port. We stayed 3 nights however there is not a great deal to do throughout the day in the area so we booked an island hopping tour. The staff at Aquarius were really accommodating and friendly, the room was clean and tidy (deluxe ocean view) with a fantastic terrace to watch the sunset, the fridge was noisy and noise Carrie’s up the stairs. Overall it was a great value stay while we transited and the restaurant/bar was good value. Pool was also lovely.

The coolest lil honeymoon spot!
We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay at for our 5 night honeymoon. Aquarius is right on the beachfront at Wailoaloa, and of the 8 or so hotels along this beautiful stretch of sand, it was by far the most intimate, relaxed and casual. The food was amazing (their kokoda might be the best thing I've ever eaten!), the staff were lovely and the outdoor pool area was a highlight. We didn't want to leave, and if we're ever lucky enough to visit Fiji again, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Right on the beach, and a great location for staging adventures around Fiji. The Hotel itself is average for the area, kept clean and nice by wonderful staff. The food was great, and priced about the same as other hotels and restaurants in the area.I would stay here again and recommend to friends. Some low hanging fruit to improve would be the Wifi and Television set ups in the rooms. Tvs had multiple remotes that cobbled together functionality. I wasn't in Fiji to watch Tv, so it was barely on the radar. The wifi though was very very very slow and constantly dropped off. I had to go to a next door hotel to get a better signal to conduct some business. As mentioned easy to fix and i would stay again. Venaka Aquarius!

Room was basic but clean. Food in the restaurant was very pricey but there were lots of cheaper options close by. Staff weren’t overly welcoming - not rude but lacking the smiles they should have had. Pool was clean and the ocean which was right there was beautiful and warm as a bathtub

I recently stayed at Aquarius on the Beach and would rate my experience a solid 4 of 5. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. The room, while simple, was impeccably clean, adding to the overall comfort. One point of consideration is that the room I booked, expecting an ocean view as advertised in the photo, was situated at the back with no view of the ocean whatsoever. This discrepancy was a bit disappointing and didn’t align with the expectation set by the promotional material. Despite this, if you’re looking for a cozy and well-maintained accommodation with attentive service, Aquarius on the Beach could be a suitable choice. Just be mindful that room views may vary from the promotional images.

Overall a great place to stay on a budget . We had the ocean view with a huge balcony where we could watch the sunset every night . Excellent . Staff was wonderful . Unfortunately they are building next door another hotel so some construction noise but not too bad . Restaurant food was good . Nice to eat by the pool . We enjoyed our visit .

I had a nice stay here. The view was wonderful and access to the beach was great! The food was good and the rooms comfortable. There was construction right next to our room, so it was a bit noisy. (But this was no fault of the hotel).

Used this hotel as a place to hang out, eat and shower before our flight. It was a GREAT choice. Good food, drinks and great price. Not the white beaches of the areas away from the city but they had kayaks, a pool and great water pressure with hot water which was something we had not had for a week while on the ship. Room was kinda small but air conditioned with a safe, private bathroom and a tv. They had locked luggage room to hold our luggage until room was ready for check in. Fifteen or so minutes taxi ride to airport was F$20. Construction next door should not last much longer. Would not have been a deterrent for us. Not that bad and they don’t work long.

You get what you pay for. The property was fine for my purpose. Just an overnight stay while on a layover. The beach is ok. The neighborhood s little run down but seemed safe. Lots of other hotels around for bars and restaurants. A market a short walk away. You would quickly run out of things to do here if staying longer.

We loved the small friendly atmosphere and the low cost for our room . Excellent place to stay on a budget . We had a rental car and had to find parking on the road which was not ideal . Food was great sitting by the pool to eat . Lots of other restaurants in walking distance . We would definitely come back .

Our location on the beach in the Wailoaloa area is very safe, so we're not sure why you would not want to walk too far at night. Can be noisy with the bar/hotel across the street playing music until early hours of the morning but the rooms block out most of the noise. The staff are fabulous and very kind, hotel is a short walk to everything and taxis right out front!

My experience at this hotel was a delightful and pleasant one. The staff is friendly, courteous and always eager too please their guest. I had a room on the ground floor which was a Deluxe unit that was spacious, clean with a King size bed. At night I would have turn the a/c unit off as it would get too cold. Although the internet would be an issue at times it was not there fault as the signal is rather low throughout the island. The dining area was indoor and outdoors facing the Ocean. The staff was great as well the food. I am extremely pleased and satisfied with the selection I made and encourage everyone stay there.

Great location great little place we’re doing outside renovations at time of stay but once done will look even better Lots of vibe close by if that’s what you wanted Have stayed at Denerau also but I liked how low key and quiet it was here great menu and food Local bus stops outside a litte gamy supermarket and other eat out spots all within a minute or 5 walk Beach right there no use being in Fiji if you can’t just step into the water .
