"Centrally located in downtown Zurich, hotel Franziskaner. The room was amazingly clean and it has a kitchenette, stove, fridge, electric kettle that made our stay even more enjoyable since we can cook anything that we wanted to eat. The staff was excellent hands down they were so accommodating and so helpful, special mention to Alli and the amazing lady at the front desk (sorry I forgot her name). I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family if ever they visit Zurich. They...

"Great position on the Lake with easy access into Luzern, CHF4 each way. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with standalone Aircon which proved useful during our visit. Be aware most room do not have an unrestricted view of the lake due to a property in front of the hotel. Breakfast is taken across the road at the old hotel, but is good. The restaurant is in the same location across the road and we had a reasonable meal there. There is also a good Brazilian restaurant nearby. Be aware...

"This is located 15-18 minute bus ride from the train station. But it's away from busy downtown and have a beautiful view of the lake and mountain that makes the stay very relaxing. (i chose lake view) The AC isn't too strong but there was a fan. The room was clean and the staff were nice. You can enjoy the lake view while having breakfast."

"Hotel carino, vicinissimo a stazione x centro, e al tram per l'aeroporto. Colazione buona, ma con pochi dolci. Stanza ampia ma priva di aria condizionata (ci batte il sole quasi tutto il giorno) e posta al primo piano senza ascensore. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, considerato costi di Zurigo. "Location is good. Town is beautiful however the hotel does not deserve to be ranked as a 4 star hotel due to how dirty rooms were. We had three rooms. 2 rooms had spider webs and other insects . One room smelled like a rotten cheese that the staff was aware of and changed to another room. I cannot believe that the regional health department allows this hotel to operate this way !"
