Hotel murah di English Riviera

"The hotel with the rooms was very outdated. Horrible smell everywhere. Staff were nice and helpful though. We could only park behind the dirty building, car park full of rubbish. The walls were paper-thin, so we heard every conversation (it was rather a screaming between family members) and door slam in the hallway. Ruined our entire weekend. The room was filthy, with dust thick on the Cupboards, shelves, no hoovering was done, I had dirty towels. TV couldn’t be used. The price was very low...

"We absolutely loved staying at The Barbican Hotel. It’s in a great location, near the beach and town. We were greeted so kindly and looked after so well. Our room was fresh and bright, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was wonderful! Well cooked and presented! I can honestly say, we couldn’t have chosen a better guest house! Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and welcoming!"

Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. "My room was very clean and it was easy to obtain supplies if needed. The housekeeping team was friendly and the quality of their work was excellent. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice although I would have preferred the option of fried or poached eggs and some hash browns. All the staff were helpful and friendly."

"I would definitely recommend this hotel. My wife and I stayed in an apartment, which had a large kitchen with all the amenities you would need. It had a hob, an oven, microwave and fridge, plus a toaster and even a caffatiere. The bedroom, living area and bathroom were a good size and really comfortablex the bar in the hotel had a great decking area with a great view over the river and down towards Teignmouth. "Our room 214 was boiling hot. could not open windows. no air conditioning. two nights of pure heat! the staff said they understood but could do nothing! it ruined our short break. WFH"

"The location was excellent and the staff are very helpful, the room was nice and large but not very clean it looked old and tired, that said the whole place was showing it's age. On the plus side the food was excellent along with how quiet the hotel is, this ideal if you want to relax. We would go back again even though it had it's small faults."
