We had a short but lovely stay at Treetops Guesthouse. We arrived later than planned but were still welcomed personally by Stefan which was really nice. The room was clean and comfortable, just what we needed after a long day of travelling. It felt extremely safe and secure for both us and the parking. We had an early morning flight from PE, which Stefan kindly drove us to the airport, which we were very grateful for. We would definitely recommend for any travellers. Thankyou so much for your hospitalilty!

The owner Steven is very friendly and helpful with information, suggestions and directions. He helped get our laundry done , it was ready in our room . The rooms are spacious and have a fridge , microwave , some crockery and cutlery which was very useful, if travelling with kids. They have a lovely garden where they serve break. The rooms are well cleaned and tea/ coffee well stocked. They had treats like chocolates and cookies which no other place had and the kids got excited to see it…. Memorable stay … thank you Steven

I really loved Treetops and would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to PE. The owners were exceptionally warm and welcoming, and went out of their way to help me feel at home. They also have great travel advice for the garden route and cape town. Also the room itself was extremely nice and very comfortable. Thank you for a great stay!

There was a warm welcome for us, starting with the pickup at the airport. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are beautifully maintained and thoughtfully organized. It is secure and Elizabeth and Stephen give wise advice about visiting Port Elizabeth. This is an excellent choice for a visit here.

Treetops Guesthouse is very close to the Port Elizabeth Airport, which was what we wanted. Our host, Elizabeth, picked us up and arranged for taxis to take us to see some sights, which was very helpful. The breakfasts were a great start to our day. The garden and pool were a pleasant place to spend some relaxing time. Nothing could be faulted and we would recommend Treetops to anyone coming to PE.

Great value for money
Were greeted on arrival by owners and even though we were an hour earlier than expected they were ready for us. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, and have spacious shower cubicle with seperate bathtub. Outside surroundings and garden are kept clean with small swimming pool and barbeque facility in the garden. Location is perfect for tourists that fly in, as its 5 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes drive to the beach.Excellent value overall for the price, and will for sure return to this place. I will certainly recommend this venue to anybody.

This property is 3 minutes by car from the airport. Steve and Elizabeth are excellent hosts, rooms are provided with free extras like cookies, real milk coffee, water. Steve gave us lots of first hand info regarding the Garden Route, along with a detailed itinerary printout (with his own photos) Breakfast was great, and the room was an excellent value. Sorry we only booked for the one night

Every now and then, you come across a place and say “I wish I knew about this before”. Treetops is one. Great amenities. Fantastic breakfast. And best of all, it is pet friendly.

Guesthouse convenient to airport, well worth it.
Treetops Guesthouse is always efficient in their planning and organized. Our reservation was promptly handled, and the facilities are always spotless and comfortable. It is tastefully decorated. Breakfast is always fresh and tasty and provides great variety. Very happy to have found this place, and will continue to use it when we are in Port Elizabeth!

Easy walking distance to a few restaurants or mini marts. Room had a few kitchen items so made it easy for quick meals. So close to PE airport there is no rush to get there.

We needed an overnight close to the airport as we had an early flight the following day. Treetops was a great find, five minutes from the airport and very good value. Room was a bit tired and the pillows had a funny smell, the air conditioning was very noisy but it worked. Lots of things provided so if you decided to stay for longer there's not much else you would need

A Pleasant stay in Port Elizabeth
This is a Bed and Breakfast. It is in a nice neighborhood, close to down town and the air port, with restaurants within walking distance, Everything was immaculate, including service. The proprietor drove me to the air port next morning, free of charge. It was like being a guest in her home.

Treetops was a wonderful surprise after a full-day of travel to reach South Africa. It was exceedingly easy to find - you can't miss the treetop lights! Stephen greeted us at the gate and upon hearing our itinerary for the next day, came back in less than 5 minutes with a whole host of personalized recommendations for our onward journey. The lodging was impeccably clean, well-equipped (European, French, and South African plugs), and spacious. The next morning we had the pleasure of having a full English breakfast in their garden, and Elizabeth and Stephen were again exceedingly helpful, making dinner reservations and helping us to confirm our next stay. If you come to Port Elizabeth, you must stay here!

Comfortable guesthouse close to the airport.
Elizabeth was so friendly and accommodating, I arrived fairly late on a weeknight and she came out to pick me up from the airport. My room was comfortable and spacious but still cosy - exactly what I needed after a long flight from Sydney. Good wifi, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. Basically, they had thought of everything.

Great location for PLZ Airport
Only 5 minutes drive from Port Elizabeth PLZ airport. Very good value for the price paid. Able to park outside the front door. 3 beds and large tub and separate shower. Great for a 1 or 2 night stay if you want to be near airport. Good free WIFI also a bonus and a microwave and kettle.

Treetops is Tops!
Steven and Elizabeth at Treetops are simply the best--caring, helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. If you are near the Port Elizabeth airport or in the PE area, this is the place to stay. Their staff were so helpful, telling us where to find the information and shops we needed, giving us advice and guidance. We felt safe and had a great starting point to our journey. Five stars to Treetops and their staff! Thank you everyone at treetops!

Well, I came across Tree tops by accident and was only a stop over on my way to Port Alfred and we arrived late at night from Australia. Had the best B&B experience. Decorated with crafts made by locals totally blew us away. The hosts do an absolutely amazing job. Booking back in for 2 nights, just had to. Beautiful South Africa. Thank you.

The place was close to the airport and the beach which was great, they reduced my breakfast charge because I didnt each much!! I only didnt like that I could hear the traffic from my bedroom as well as the footsteps when people walked on the wooden floor in the main house.The owners were helpful and friendly.

My adult daughter and I stayed 1 night after flying into Port Elizabeth and left the next day to drive to Knysna. It was easy to find, clean comfortable and quiet, with many good places to eat nearby. We chose Greek food about 4 blocks away and excellent, and breakfast was also very good at Treetops.
