"I have stayed at quite a few luxury hotels and the Sofitel never fails to impress! Unfortunately due to an accident, we lost power, however the generator jumped into action quite quickly, With unprecedented work noise outside due to the accident, I was offered a relocation to another room, however at that time of night I asked for and was provided with earplugs. Eventually fell to sleep and slept well. As an apology, even though it was their fault, I have been offered a free room...

"Staff were helpful, room okay did not request king bed asked for a double booking made through Expedia. Room right near the lift which I know someone has to have but not ideal. Had a small meal prior to 6 pm at the Collins restaurant which was fine, breakfast arrived 8.30 am seated quickly staff were good. The Meal which we had small spoon of baked beans, mushrooms, scrambled egg, bacon were nearly cold only hot item was the hash brown. Two coffees to follow were good, staff was very good. ...

"Stayed for a couple nights, booked a King bedroom. Clean, modern room but a bit small with an unusual bathroom layout. No mirror in front of sink, so had to use the portable vanity mirror to see while brushing or flossing. The front desk was all very helpful and friendly. Located across a park, just outside Melbourne CBD, so it felt spacious leaving the hotel. Also very close to trams and transit, though we didn’t use because we mostly walked to everything."

"It’s value for money. Kids friendly, has warm pool, hot jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Enough shower rooms. (This facility area is not cleaned often due to high traffic, I feel the floor is a little too wet to walk around. I reckon the cleaning is overall too casually done.) The room was big, 2 double beds enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. (A little downside is there is a sewage smell when I entered the room, wasn’t pleasant but I just tried to ignore) I appreciate the early check in at 2pm,...
