"Helpful and friendly staff from check-in to check-out. Across the street from the train station and a quick walk to the old town shopping district. Elevator, well-lit hall, small well-planned room with everything I needed: comfortable bed, strong shower with plenty of hot water, window that opened into a French balcony. Good breakfast. I’ll be back."

"I booked a room for one night based on the information provided during the reservation process, which indicated that free parking was included. Upon arrival, my vehicle was already parked when the receptionist informed me that I was not allowed to park there. Unfortunately, the situation was handled in a very unprofessional manner. Rather than helping to clarify the misunderstanding, the receptionist refused to allow me to proceed to my room until I moved my vehicle. Since my reservation through Expedia.com was non-refundable, I had no practical alternative. The situation escalated unnecessarily, and I ultimately had to contact the police in the middle of the night to resolve what should have been a simple communication issue. In addition to the parking problem, the room itself did not meet my expectations. It appeared poorly maintained, had an unpleasant odor, and did not feel adequately clean. While I understand that this is a 3-star hotel and adjust my expectations accordingly, basic cleanliness, courteous customer service, and reasonable problem-solving should still be standard. Overall, this was a disappointing experience due to both the customer service and the condition of the room. I hope management reviews its guest service procedures and communication regarding parking policies to prevent similar situations for future guests."
