"We stayed at Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour for one night to celebrate my son’s birthday, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. There was no warm welcome on arrival, and no complimentary birthday treat or cake for the celebration. The room did not feel clean—the carpet was dusty, the bathroom had mould and an unpleasant smell, and one of the face towels had what appeared to be a red stain on it. We were also surprised that there was no complimentary bottled water or basic...

"The paradox was a lovely place to stay, rooms were modern and clean. Staff were lovely. Breakfast served everything we needed. Coffee was nice and strong. Loved its location. Pool and spa were nice, tiles round spa could do with upgrading."

"Despite the decor in the rooms needing a little updating, considering the constant usage by travellers the accommodation was clean, serviced regularly, and the layout of rooms/ bathrooms and living area was excellent. Kitchenette had all the necessary utilities and crockery, cutlery for our use. It was great to have a balcony, from which we had magnificent views of the harbour. Swimming pool was great. The whole complex provided for a range of facilities and eateries. We will definitely stay...

"Our apartment was extremely spacious. Family of 6 - 4 adults and 2 older teens - beds catered perfectly, bathroom and ensuite in main bedroom, laundry, kitchen, dining and lounge, 2 balconies. Everyone had their own space, but also great living areas to be together in. Staff very pleasant and accommodating, easy check in, clean. Could do with a referb, but facilities all functional and clean. Location near The Rocks and a short walk to train station or city centre. Would book again."
