this hotel I believe is part of a chain, we liked it here and they had thought of everything one could need for a stay, The room was comfortable and the English speaking staff were efficient and professional. The only let down was that the food here was expensive, I wouldn't really bother to eat here, and the coffee was exp too. The location isn't too bad, we found the train ok, but it is a bit of a hike, however taxis in Shanghai are cheap enough and the metro is fine once you walk there.

Visiting Shanghai Expo. Took executive floor option which is worth the extra when you consider personal check in and out services, free drinks each evening in the exec lounge etc. Hotel is well placed in the Honngqiao district near many restaurants and local transport. A short taxi ride to the Expo, French Concession and Shanghai down-town. Hotel refurbishment is complete and this is a good value establishment which is run smoothly and efficiently. Parkson Shopping district is a short walk and visitors should take a quick taxi to Hongmei Lu Food Street and Pearl Market. Both are together and hotel staff will translate to taxi driver

This contemporary high-rise condo-style studio was a great value for the price I paid. Also, it was quite busy with overnight bus tourists. Breakfast is offered, or there is a high-end coffee bar located in the lobby. Shanghai Metro's Jiashan and Dapuqiao stations (Line 9) are each about a 10 minute walk away. Interesting local shops and eateries are just outside the front door.

Excellent stay, helpful staff, clean and spacious room.

I have already given the hotel two suggestions regarding their health club to keep it safe and clean. It's very convenient. It's only about 3 minutes walk to subway line#5 station. It's also very close to shopping. Good choice.

We stayed a few nights at this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful, The rooms comfortable and clean and the hotel is in a great location. If staying for business or visiting, this hotel ticks all the boxes. The negatives are hard to find but if booking, try and include the breakfast.

the holiday inn city centre hotel in guangzhou was a great hotel. the staff spoke excellent english and were alway helpfull. nothing was too much trouble. the rooms were very comfortable and very clean, with all the usual amenities. the buffet meals i.e. breakfast and dinner were of a very high standard and the food and service was excellent. it is a pleasant hotel and would suit any type of traveller, either business or on holidays. the area is safe and you really don't have to leave the area if you don't want to.i would certainly be going back to this hotel again.
