I stayed 2 nights with my son. The room was quiet, clean , maybe a bit on the small side but it had everything we needed and it is conveniently situated near the underground.
Very average stay. Basic rooms. Staircases to elevators completely defeats the purpose of an elevator - the staff will not assist you with your baggage up and down the stairs either. Front desk recommended the incorrect train to the airport, and I ended up on the other side of Denmark.
Very clean and comfortable. Staff were great, 24 hr reception. Can't fault this hotel on anything. Very central and close to everything including the Central train station.
Joanna and team were awesome! We loved staying here it’s very convenient to the main train station. Would totally recommend to anyone visiting Copenhagen.
A very central location and a short walk to the main train station and metro. Despite being very central it’s also on a very quiet side street. An old building but the rooms inside a modern and clean. I’d stay here again
If you want to be close to a metro stop, Tivoli Gardens, and the Meatpacking District then this is the hotel for you. If you are expecting a coffee machine in your room and shampoo that hasn't been watered down so much it has separated in the bottle, and is now utterly useless, then this hotel isn't for you. Powdered coffee in a room at this price is truly unacceptable. Watering down the hand soap and shampoo (which is the exact same, gross product) is also unacceptable. When i come back to Copenhagen, I will stay in the same neighborhood, but not here. (I was here for 7 days.)
rooms are not as good as they look in pictures.
We were given the wrong double room, and they only changed it at a fee.
Customer service is close to zero.
A proximity to Copenhagen central station & metro in an quiet area. No shortage of restaurants within 5-8 min walk from the hotel.
Shower had sufficient pressure and everything was functional. A reception desk staff (Swedish) was most kind and helpful when I seemed for a help regarding mobile SIM card.‘ thanks to him.

Disliked: Staff & service
Tiny room, always too warm. Provide only one paper cup and one plastic cup. That I considered an insult. After all I was paying US$287 for a three nights stay.
It was very convenient as you are very close to the train and metro. We walked to most attractions.
Room was small but adequate. Staff were helpful and friendly.

I'll start off by saying that the property is very clean and well kept. There's a 24 hour front desk which is great. Staff is pleasant. The rooms are small and there is no bathtub which is fine. There's A TV in the room but only Danish stations. They could spring for CNN International or BBC. It's close to transit (subway and central station). The issue came in that my room was over the dining courtyard and people were out sometimes up to 1:00 am being loud. There was even someone shooting off fireworks. The guests were also loud in the hallway, often shouting and pounding on doors. I didn't make the front desk aware of this but should have. While the location was great I will never stay here again. Let the buyer beware.
Tight space for 4 people with luggage. Have to walk the stairs to get to the elevator, not good if you have big luggage. If you are on the 4th floor, you have to walk downstairs to get to your room after getting off the elevator. No ironing board in the room. Breakfast is $17 per person with small selection.
Very close to Metro and Central station, very near Tivoli Gardens.
The hotel is very close to the central train station and metro. There are restaurants close by, as well as Tivoli Gardens.
The room is pretty small but fine for one person. However I wish it had air conditioning because I like to sleep in the cold. There was a fan and the window can open to the outside.
I did not eat the breakfast.
Completely modernized rooms. Spacious bathroom and shower. Decent sized (std double) room, good storage space. Comfortable, firm bed. West facing 5th floor room got a little warm on sunny days (leave blinds closed when going out) but opening large window cooled off nicely at night. Good breakfast buffet, but nothing special beyond crepes.
Perfect hotel near the train station. I took off a couple points because I wasn’t aware the neighborhood was a little bit of a red light district (strip clubs nearby). It felt perfectly fine but wouldn’t have been my first choice for walking home at night with my teen daughter.
Thank you for a lovely stay. I had a brief overnight layover and had never been to Copenhagen. I arrived around 8:30pm and took a quick walk to Tivoli Gardens (7 min away) and was able to stroll through and even do a few rides before they closed. The front desk recommended the meat packing district about 10 min the other way walking to have a late dinner. Went to Fiskebar which was pretty cool. In the morning I got up early and walked 30 min to Nyhavn, a picturesque area of colourful houses along the canal. I did some shopping in the area and walked back to the hotel area and hopped in a cab by the train station right nearby. I did all this by noon! It is super convenient to see so many things nearby. Thank you and I will be back with my husband for a longer stay!
Was perfect for what I required and at a great price. Copenhagen is an expensive city, and the weekend was there they had a major conference and 4 huge cruise ships docked so rooms were at a premium.
I was in a single room, which was perfect for one person and especially as I knew I wouldn’t be in the room very much (I was in town for a wedding), super clean and very functional. Bathroom was a wet room (all in one) - this worked perfectly for me (but noted it might not suit others).
I didn’t use the restaurant or other facilities - although I should’ve used the restaurant for breakfast instead of ordering via the delivery app and spending waaaay more than I needed! Lol.
My definite 5 stars goes for the service - quick, efficient, friendly and super helpful.
Would absolutely recommend this hotel.
spent 2 days at the go hotel Ansgar and was so happy , close to the train stn and also walkable to the centre, room was small but big enough for 2 people if your just using it as a hub to sleep in as we were .
The front staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had comfortable beds, the place was very clean. Transportation was very close by, which is a major plus.
The CONS: No A/C, it was very hot, although they provided 2 fans, that helped. However, one fan was so loud, i was unable to use it. Other than that, it was good.
Small boutique hotel in a quite St.! Metro and Central Station are around de corner.! Main attractions are walkable if you like to walk. Has a nice courtyard.! Friendly and helpful reception.
Very good breakfast. Room was small but sufficient for me and my husband. Very clean. Very good for the price. Love the elevator.
We had a lovely 3 night stay here this weekend. Staff were all so friendly. Room was a perfect size overlooking the courtyard. So clean and convenient for all the sites. We could easily walk to attractions or jump on the Metro or train which were both a short walk away. We really enjoyed the breakfast as there was a lovely choice. Would recommend
