"Kenai Princess was not as overwhelmed by cruise passengers as the other Princess lodges e stayed at. This lodge is more upscale and we enjoyed our stay. But I would avoid it in peak cruise season. These lodges are highly optimized for cruise passengers and not if you are traveling on your own"

"Cabin - Extremely small. No wifi, no tv, no dresser or closet. When I closed the door, the door 's window curtain fell because the nail holding one end came out. I do not recommend this accommodation."

"Our stay was perfect! The setting was lovely against the mountains. There was a walking path decorated with delightful sculptures around the property. Our room was large and tastefully decorated. The owners were very personable. Breakfast was on time and tasty. I would definitely recommend this place. "

"We had a day of king salmon fishing planned in the area, so we decided to stay in Soldotna for the night. We paid $234 for a double queen room. The room had several issues. The air conditioner rattled throughout the night, one of the mattresses sagged noticeably in the middle, and the door was difficult to close properly. On the positive side, the room was clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff accommodated an early check-in, which we appreciated. Would I stay here again? Probably not...

"I absolutely loved the view from our room. We had a huge window that looked straight out over the river. Also, those windows had blackout shades. So the Alaskan summer can be turned off when it is time to sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. The property was well maintained. The staff was very nice and helpful. Check-in, checkout was very easy."

"This is a nice place to stay, conveniently located near the highway. Patrons should know that there is no front desk and the key must be picked up at a separate location prior to entering your room.
