"Entrance and reception were very nice, large car park, staff were lovely and helpful. We had the continental breakfast which was very good.
What let's the hotel down is the rooms which are in need of some refurbishment. The bathroom was ok but bedroom had old fashioned well worn furniture and there was a stale musty smell in the room but this could have been stale cigarette smoke as there were cigarette butts outside the window."

"The hotel is under refurbishment (however it has halted and 3 years in no work was being undertaken during our stay). The room was a family room (as I was travelling with my daughter and grand daughter) and can only be described as grubby...the walls and the furniture both dirty. The bathroom skirting dirty with dust. In the recent heat we were provided with a totally inadequate fan, replaced after a conversation with the manager. In fairness he understood our disappointment with the "surprise"...

"The shower head is fixed to wall above shower screen doors,so when you take a shower the head of shower was spraying everywhere which I didn’t realise it was wetting my clothes that I was putting on and wash bag.this was room 105 I told them this but poor apology. I bet this will not be fixed
