Beautiful property and friendly staff. The only criticism I had was breakfast wasn’t always ready at 7 and it would have been nice to have some healthy options like fruit. It would have also been nice if there had been a few board or card games available for guests to use.

Such a cute property. We flew into Chicago for a concert at Salt Shed. I chose this location versus closes Hyatt at it had more character and was not disappointed. We stayed in the Hoyne room right, on the first floor right when you walk room. Check in was smooth and room and common areas were always spotless. Included breakfast was light, but enough for us. We were able to walk to and from concert and hit up several bars restaurants along the way. The Inn is close to L, but train didn’t impact our sleep. Really enjoyed our stay!! Thank you!

Everything about bour stay was great with the exception of the water pressure in the shower. It wasn't strong enough to rinse shampoo from my hair. But the linens, bed, cleanliness, everything else was good and would recommend.

Close to everything and safe. Cute neighborhood. Our room The Damen is close to the kitchen and we could hear people talking as early as 7:30/8 am. The kitchen was quite cold. This was our 2nd stay and we enjoyed it though !

This property is a wonderful place to stay. The host was very welcoming and hospitable and the aesthetics and cleanliness of the space were great. Would highly recommend and would happily return.

Amazing time
Staying at Wicker Park Inn was fabulous, I wish I had heard about it sooner. Great area, comfortable, clean, vibrant spaces and really delightful staff. This is my new go-to for visiting Chicago.

Outstanding. Bedding and space top-tier. Location will make or break it for you. If you don’t mind occasional train or neighbor noise (thin walls) this is a perfect location with loads of things in walking distance. I am rating 10/10 for urban setting. Had a lovely time.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room, the Damon was rather noisy due to foot traffic in the hallway to the kitchen. An improvement I would like is access to table surfaces by an outlet to charge our devices. One nightstand had that. A charging station on the desk would be appreciated.

My partner and I really enjoyed staying here. The neighborhood was so cute and quiet. The train that went by was oddly soothing - we didn’t feel it was noisy at all. We had a gorgeous street view. It was walkable to all kinds of shops, as well as the Blue line which we used to travel to neighboring areas easily. The bed was divine! I highly recommend anyone coming to Chicago stay here!

Charming
We were totally charmed by this B & B, just off Milwaukee Avenue. Everything was pristine and beautifully appointed. The continental breakfast was varied and delicious, the staff was attentive to our needs and queries, parking was conveniently arranged for us (extra fee, but it’s Chicago), and the city information in the room was helpful. I hope we have an excuse to go back.

My stay at the Wicker Park Inn was FANTASTIC! The room was so lovely and spacious, the kitchen was always well stocked with an assortment of snacks available for guests, and the desserts and breakfast each morning were quite tasty. Being right in the middle of the Wicker Park neighborhood provided so many fun options within a short walk.

Had such an amazing time at Wicker Park Inn! So cute, modern, but also simple and not over done. Will say, if your sensitive to noise, this may not be the place for you since the train runs right next to the building, but we didnt mind. Used the garage parking, was super convenient. Also close to a lot of food, shopping and night life. Great customer service at check-in and the owner makes herself available if needed! Would stay again!!

One big flaw overshadowed.
The Check in was efficient and Sandra was helpful. The overall atmosphere had a B&B feel, room was clean, linens and towels of high quality. Although we did not take breakfast the kitchen was amazing. Unfortunately our bed was very worn out with a deep valley in the middle which was a huge flaw. I loved everything else but would hesitate to stay again due to mattress.

Thank you for your feedback. Your guest room has a Casper firm memory foam mattress purchased in 2020 (less than a year old). Some folks are not used to a foam mattress. They provide comfortable support to ensure a peaceful night's sleep.

Would Stay There Again
Great location. We elected to drive to the Loop because of Covid; however, it's located close to the "L" too. Close to excellent restaurants, seems to be in a safe neighborhood and all-in-all a good choice. Our only complaint was that there was no housekeeping service during our four-day stay. We would have appreciated a change of towels....

Lovely Chicago trip
Excellent stay! Would definitely stay here again! The self checking in and out was convenient. The room was spacious and clean. There is a large communal kitchen space if you want to eat your of own food there. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. We had the onsite garage parking. It was super convenient.

Whicker Waste of Money
Pros: - Overall the hotel was VERY cute. - The owner was super sweet, gave me extra pillows & threw in a charcuterie board for FREE. Cons: - There wasn't someone on staff to help you at all times (which was an issue). I cut myself & needed first aid. - My room was very pretty but overall it was dirty. The bathroom was gross (hair all over from previous people who stayed and floor was filthy). I took a shower and then got black dirt all over my foot. - The shower and sink had barley any water coming out of it. It was hard to even get soap off my hands! - Only items we could use was two towels (not enough for myself and my friend), soap/shampoo/condition (that wasn't individually packed) so we were touching items that others used. Especially during COVID, being cleaning is KEY. My room was dirty and makes me very upset that it wasn't following protocol during the pandemic. Everything should be wiped down and individually packed toilet-trees. Not to mention that I could hear everything (outside & people walking above me stomping around). Another thing I was upset about was breakfast. It's a BEAD & BREAKFAST. So bc of COVID, you can't enjoy the breakfast BUT you can pay an additional $15/guest delivered to your room. You're literally paying for this service when you book the hotel, so I find it ridiculous that we have to pay for it to be delivered to our room if we want breakfast. Not to mention all the rules (if something got dirty gd for bid, you were fined!!!)

I’m afraid your review does not match the service provided. You did not mention any issues when I booked 2 massages that you requested the day of your stay. Nor when I delivered 2 additional pillows to your guest room. Or when I offered you a complimentary charcuterie board from a virtual cooking class hosted in our kitchen. We follow strict CDC guidelines and procedures for cleanliness. Our room are meticulously clean and because of covid, we can only provide breakfast service to your room upon request.

Great location within easy walking distance of all shops and restaurants. There is a noisy train that goes by frequently, but not during the night. Easy contactless entry right now during COVID. We didn't see anyone else during our stay. Room was clean and tidy.

Room was large and welcoming. The bathroom was also large and up to date. The breakfast was simple, but delicious with fresh fruit each day. Check in and check out were very simple. Only negative, the king bed mattress definitely needs to be replaced.

Everything was very nice. One thing I didn't like was I made request through expedia for overnight parking. The site said it was in a garage. When I checked in, the garage spots were gone and I had to find parking in the street. At least they didn't charge me and did give me a parking pass.
