Honestly, your saving grace was the hotel staff and that good heat! Other than that, it was hard to swallow. You could smell the odor in the bathroom even with the door closed, but it magnified when the door was opened. There were only two outlets working. The faucet sat so far back on the sink that you had to turn the water on full force just so your hands wouldn't have to rub up against the sink each time you washed your hands. I have a picture of the mold on the sink and the live bug that was on my mattress when I pulled the bed away from the wall. What made me look was when I was in the fitness room, I spotted two bugs, one on the ceiling and one on the wall. The fitness room has been neglected. There's dust and dirt everywhere! Is that enough to get a refund?

Front Desk Clerk Raven was very helpful. She made sure that the type of room I requested was saved for my late check in. The actual room was great. I didn't like the lockers, filthy worn out carpeting, and cigarette odor in the hallway where my room was. Handicapped patrons, especially those that have resipatory issues shouldn't have to be put in this type of environment just to have access to a first-level room. Apparently the Sleep Inn has a contract with a railroad company and gave it's employees the first level of the hotel, where the handicapped-friendly rooms are also located.

Staff was very helpful and as accommodating as they could be. Other guests were smoking in the rooms and that smell then permeated the entire floor and into our room with small children. Not exactly the hotels fault, but kind of a result of the location and type of hotel. If that bothers you, maybe find somewhere else to stay.

The room was extremely dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. There was a crack pipe between the mattress and the box spring, nasty marks on the mattress and covers, food still in the fridge from previous customers. Just overall nasty. I ended my time there after 2 hours and checked into a new hotel

Broken shower.
While I stayed in the first floor, the ceiling creeked, it always felt like someone was breaking into my room. The shower didn't work.
