Staff is rude and unhelpful. Reasonable questions inconvenient the staff. Asked for a crib for our 10 month old daughter that we never got. Over charged for the room. Room wasn't as advertised online.

Chad: I can't find any note that a Crib was requested, and the person working the Front Desk at that time doesn't remeber that request. You did book a room with a pull out sofa. I apologize for any inconvenience. Had I known about it, we have several cribs available. Plese contact me to discuss.

Absolutely beautiful and so convenient. It is surrounded by shops, restaurants etc, i was there because my sister was in the hospital but I cant wait to come back for fun!

The hotel would be something I would book again if not for the fees. The hotel is in a great location, very quiet and walkable, and the rooms are both clean and comfortable. However, I ended up getting charged $50 more than Expedia quoted. That's a first for a hotel I've booked and was disappointing. Fees greater than what I prepared for made the hotel less relaxing and more frustrating.

Its comfy beautiful neat and clean. The only complaint is the extra service charge for the stay. I believe that once you pay for the stay via third party there shouldn't be additional fees upon check in . Its the hotel but it is the industry and times we now live in .

Ethan: I'm disappointed yu couldn't give us a better review. The Guest Benefit Package is clearly disclosed on the Expedia website, as well as all Third Party Websites. The package includes a long list of discounted attravtions all over Chicago and the U.S. They never expire! The 25 per evening Diniong Certificate also never expires! Have you taken advantage of either of these items yet? We value this Package at over 600!! Pkease contact me with any other questions or comments.

Convenient location but lacking amenities
The location is very convenient, just a few minutes walk to Michigan Ave, Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Water Place. Check-in and out were efficient, however, the ran out of extra pillows - huh?!?!? The in-room temperature control didnt work well for us, so the temperatures kept fluctuating all night. The vent is also very loud, the bed firm (which we liked). The bar on the 29th floor was closed and so was the coffee shop at the lobby. Overall it was an okay stay.

Bait and switch- read all the terms.
This place is a master is the bait and switch. Prove on the website says one thing, but fine print is a whole different story. Amenities that you have to pay for include use of a peloton, but the bike they are talking about is in another hotel about a mile away. GM threatened to boot me out of the place for complaining about the bait and switch. Stay away

The hotel was not worth the money I paid for the Pete this paint was peeling off the ceiling the grout was coming off of the bathroom tile and the bathtub looked dingy

Not a resort! Fees doubled overall cost
Mediocre hotel. Price of reservation doubled at check in with resort fees and $75 to use hotel valet. Literally nothing wonderful about our stay for the insane cost. (I naturally expected a cost for valet, but $75 is bananas coupled with $90 in “resort fees”. This is FAR from a resort!

Scam with rude staff. But it is cheap.
The room was big, and the workout room was also large and well-ventilated. Coffee in the lobby was meh. Unfortunately those are the nicest things I can say about this place. It just seems like a scam. The bar isn't real; the "coffee bar" is just Kuerigs, your "guest gift" is a 6 pack of sodas and a coupon pack - for $50/day you can't opt out of... just weird and annoying. The bathroom in my room also smelled like vomit - possibly from the previous guest. The smell lingered for 1.5 days. The staff was pretty rude too. The attitude seems to be, "well if you don't like it, stay somewhere else". Which isn't exactly a way to convince people TO stay. Unfortunately most travelers don't have time or brain space to negotiate a new hotel on the fly and I would suspect most (like me) just choose to deal with it.

It's difficult to respond to Anonymity. Our Guest Benefit Package includes dozens of discounted attractions around Chicago and the U.S., and they never expire! There is alsoa 25 per evening dining certificate good all over the U.S., and it too never expires! Have you begun to take advantage of these yet? You should always contact the Front Desk, or ask for Management if something like your bathroom issue crops up. We would gladly have moved rooms for you or tidied up. Please contact me with any questions you nay have otherwise.

I booked the property and Expedia expecting the price to be what was advertised. When I arrived I was told it was an additional $75 charge for some kind of weird resort fee. They gave me access to the workout room and a bag with bottles of water. I was told that it was clearly indicated on my Expedia booking. I'm sure it was but clearly it was done and away to get the desired result.

Substandard staff. Couple of them were nice. Most acted like you were bothering them when asking them for something and one had his AirPods in the entire time he was at reception taking to guests. Also, bate and switch pictures of a bar and cafe on your site that staff said has been completely closed for a long time and will there were no plans to reopen it.

Employee we dealt with was rude and dismissive. We were over-charged for undisclosed fees. Facilities were not open (bar/coffee). No shampoo/conditioner/daily cleaning. Great location. Def a budget hotel with an exorbitant cost of $487.99 USD/night. Would not recommend.

Complete hoodwink on pricing with unseen resort fees and taxes that doubled the price of my stay. Room was antiquated with a ton of repurposed stuff from prior hotel on the site (literally nothing was updated when these guys took over the space). Toilet paper holder fell off the wall when I walked in the bathroom, and room reeked of smoke. Horrible experience, avoid like the plague. None of the amenities described are open even

Dear Chris,We believe you have left a review for the wrong hotel, giving your alleging that we charge a resort fee when we don't. You have also claimed that we charge double taxes, we charge exactly 17.38% as does every hotel in the city of Chicago as it is mandated by the city and state. The mandated fees that we charge are clearly displayed during the booking process and on our website. There is never a surprise. If you do choose to stay at our hotel, one of the benefits you'll receive is our Guest Benefits Package which is absolutely voluminous. You'll want to thank us again and again. If you used a travel agency or citibank or an airlines, they typically do not list our fees. We have no control over that. As for the smell of smoke, we have ionizers or spray which we can use. Windy City Gem
The Hotel Audrey/Chicago was amazing! The view from the room of downtown Chicago was impeccable, could see all the lights, people and architecture unparalleled by any city. You are located right of Michigan Ave. for all the wonderful shopping & restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable and appointed very nicely. Even received a beverage gift upon arrival, very nice! Highly recommend & will be back!

Zero services, they charge $45 a day for wifi and 3 bottles of cheap water, I left my iPad in the room and they refuse to mail it to me although I offered to pay. Worst hotel experience of my life.

Just ok.
The location of the hotel was perfect for our theatre and dinner mother daughter trip. The lobby is super cute and the staff was very friendly. We requested early check in and it was not available, adjusted our plans and that wasn't the worst thing. Our room left a lot to be desired. For the price I wasn't impressed. It appeared clean, not sparkling, but satisfactory. The beds were not ideal but we managed. The decor in the room was lacking completely. zero accents. Color. Decor none. And room was relatively small. Wouldn't be in my top 5 in theatre district mag mile when we go back to the city again. Which we do about 4 times a year. Overall, just ok. Wasn't sure how to process the hotel parking. I messaged before hand and got no response. I was told the hotel charges $70. I ended up paying $93 for 24 hrs. Clearly not ideal.

Our one year old was having surgery at Luries and this hotel was so close and convenient. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming which made the stress and overall anxiety lowered. We will always choose this hotel for future stays!

I regret to say that my stay at this hotel was the worst experience I've ever had. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful, and the rooms were far from clean. We had booked a suite with a sofa bed, but the staff showed no interest in helping us set it up. Sleeping on that sofa bed was a nightmare; it was so worn out that the metal parts jutted into your back as you lay down. Amenities were equally disappointing. Don't expect to find basics like a wine opener or glasses in your room, because they provide none of those. To add insult to injury, the resort fee is $45 per night, and you get absolutely nothing for it—there's not even a gym on the property. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone; it's a very, very bad choice. Stay away.

Darya: I'm sorry you couldn't give us a better review. Our Guest Benefit Package has an extenisve list of discounted attractins around the City. You would be hard pressed to utilize all of them within a year,whcih is why they don't expire! There is also a 25 per evening dining certificate included. Have you utilized this? It doesn';t expire, and is good for Restaurants all over the U.S. As for a gym, we have state of the art equipment in our Gym right next to the Self Serve Coffee Bar. I'm surprised you didn't contact me to disucss any of these issues. Please feel free to do so.
