The Francis Marion Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"My family and I (4) enjoyed a wonderful stay. The location on King Street is ground zero for the numerous boutiques and restaurants in the area. we walked everywhere. A park is right across the street and had an open air market during our stay. The rooms are old world charm but be prepared for the bathroom! It is miniscule!! Only one person can fit at a time but we laughed and made it work. We visited the spa which was smaller than the website portrays it to be. But the staff were extremely friendly and my daughter and I were happy with our massage therapists. Overall, I would highly recommend this historic hotel."

"Wonderful stay! Staff was very attentive and personable. We enjoyed our studio although I wish the view was better(faced buildings and alley). Very clean, quaint and affordable downtown property. Breakfast baskets were a great touch and delicious! We used the jeep twice and it was a flawless execution. Rise coffee shop is a great addition the library was spectacular!"
