"The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful."

"What an awesome hotel, everyone was friendly. No air conditiioning, but we survived well. Don't think that if you are from the states, you should rent a car. There are plenty of options for transportation vendors, the hotel will provide you the contacts. Beautiful part of the world."

"The hotel really caters for big events etc. and was almost empty when I stayed. I only met the receptionist who was efficient, friendly and helpful. The hotel is very large and set in its own grounds and gardens. For my stay it was very quiet - I can't comment on when it is full and busy. However, my stay was during the latest heatwave and my bedroom was without air conditioning and uncomfortably hot. "The hotel is situated in a fantastic location with great views, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about what guests expect and they deliver with ease, the rooms are unique and comfortable which complement the amazing views The car park is ample and safe for hotel guests and for restaurant diners our continental breakfast was great and accompanied by a barista coffee, well worth the visit and looking forward to visiting again "

"Booked two rooms for ourselves and relatives for a three night stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hall is an old building with lots of character and has those little corridors running off in many directions which I find intriguing. Our room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was clean with a good size shower and quite modern. The windows in the building are the old style metal frame single glazing so we're difficult to open and you can hear outside noise so if you're a light...
