GREAT LOCATION-HOST

The host was great! The terrace is oerfect, with a dreamy view of the town- I was able to see the balloons in the morning above the town. The greatest thing was tge breakfast : you can choose from all their delicious food. Coffee, juice, tea, anything and all types. The host was serving there great! They even kept our baggage for a day. And the entire package: night stay and breakfast is soo cheao. The Location in great, close to anything. Highly recommend it!!! Thank you guys.

Excellent view of Cappadocia

Staffs are friendly and breakfast is decent. Room is small but comfortable to stay. Our room has a balcony which provides an excellent of Cappadocia. It is nice to chill in the balcony but our neighbour's window is facing our balcony which lack of privacy for both parties. The room does not have an air-con which is very stuffy during our visit. It will be good if fan is provided in every room especially during summer season.

Loved the hotel. Nice to have laundry but the clothes came back very wrinkled. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Absolutely horrific

Absolutely horrific, stay away from this place! I have never experienced so rude and unprofessional management. I have booked 2 nights in DOUBLE BED non smokoing room, and when I arrived they gave me twin beds smoking room. When I called the manager, he said: You should solve this with hotels.com . Simply unbelievable and rude. There is plenty of great hotels in Goreme, don't risk to lose your money and to get angry with rude and unprofessional people!

You exactly know your reservation was for twin room not double room. This is your reservation number #1186666296 First All our rooms are non-smoking. If people check our room pictures they can see non-smoking sign everywhere. We exactly gave you which room you booked. 10 minutes after you get your room. You came down reception and ask to change your room to double bed room and we said to you all our rooms are fully booked than your girlfriend ask us to refund your money. First it was after midnight we can’t give your money back also you checked in the room and use the bathroom than asking refund. When you understand to you will not get your money back you did threat us to write us bad review and you said us to you know Hotels.com Turkey manager you will tell him to remove our page from Hotels.com all these things are happened around 2:00 am but we still were same point we just said to you. We are sorry we don’t have any double bed room and we can’t refund your money. We are running this place more than 13 years and we know what means of double bed (French bed) room and twin bed room. Before you make your reservation please check what kind of room you made your reservation and don’t blame people for your wrong reservation. We have over thousand reviews for all online channels people can read and decide who is right.

Wonderful Stay at Cappadocia

Hotel staff is very cooperative & friendly. We drove to Cappadocia from Istanbul. Due to some problem in our GPS, we cannot find the hotel. We called the reception and told them our location. He came there to guide us, which was really nice. His English was very good, specially in Turkey. Rooms were comparatively small, but clean & comfortable with clean and private bathroom. We called the hotel in advance, and they booked a guided tour for 5 of us at much better price than advertised elsewhere. Just 2 minutes walk from bus stop, shops and Restaurant. We would recommend it for stay with family or individual.

Definitely recommend!

We had a great stay at this centrally located hotel with super helpful staff. The room was basic yet large and comfortable. The wifi wasn't great and our leaky shower soaked the bathroom but otherwise everything was really good, especially the breakfast with views. Would recommend!

You're treated like family!

The staff at this hotel make the experience amazing. The hotel itself has a beautiful view of the gorgeous valleys and caves of Goreme. It is walkable to a cute downtown full of restaurants and cafes and the Open Air Museum. Mustafa, the owner, is very helpful and honest. He will make sure you get a full picture of all the activities available to you and make sure you get the best bang for you buck and time. The guys who help in the hotel are wonderful, they guarantee your stay is pleasant and are kind and helpful. We stayed in the cave stone room and it was a nice room but nothing extravagant, with great access to the amazing view from the terrace. Most hotels in the area have an issue with water shortages in the afternoon, but here they gave us alternatives and made our stay great. The hotel was perfect for a home base to sleep and nap at, no frills.

The location is very central

This is a 'no frills' budget option with a good location, 5 minutes walk to the Centre of town with restaurants and tourist shops. There is no reception or hotel security except for surveillance cameras . Many features broken such as: door wouldn't close, lights burned out, shower head holder broken. Breakfast was standard Turkish/Mediterranean fare, ask for omelets. Service friendly and helpful.

Our stay was lovely. The room and bathroom were very clean, comfy bed and the owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. They have free wifi and buffet breakfast! It's walking distance to the shops and restaurants.

Guven Cave Hotel ROCKS

I've traveled all around the world in the past year and my stay at Guven was one of the best. Mustafa is the owner and right after my reservation was confirmed, he sent me a welcome email and helped me coordinate my transportation from the airport to his hotel. I read horror stories online about taxis charging tons of money to bring you from the Kayseri airport to Cappadocia, so this alone was a huge plus. Mustafa is warm, kind, knowledgable and extremely respectful. His sister cleans the hotel and lovely Omer assists Mustafa. All three of them are top notch and I can't rave about them enough. Mustafa is able to help you plan anything and everything for your stay in Goreme and he does it with a smile, even when he's not feeling well. The location is great, as it's a short walk to the center of Goreme, but it's also away from the "hustle and bustle"...if you can even call it that. It's a wonderfully sleepy town. I stayed for 5 days and my room and bed were both very comfortable. If anything needed fixing or replacing, Mustafa or his team took care of it immediately. One of the most admirable things I can share is really how respectful Mustafa and Omer are. As a female traveling alone, sometimes simple things as people peeking into your room as they walk by can make you feel uncomfortable. I had a window out to the terrace, and I never once noticed Mustafa/Omer looking in. 100% gentleman. I'd recommend Guven Cave hotel to anyone and look forward to visiting in the future.

Good value for a cave room, owner is very helpful

We were skeptical about the safety of the balloons but the owner was very assuring on the phone and face to face making sure there aren't any problems and explained why previous and rare problems happen with other companies. He arranged everything for us without extra charge and we were picked up from the hotel. The flight was as told sailing smooth, didnt even feel like i was in the air having random conversations with people. Hotel was located centrally and rooms are in decent condition.

Great small hotel

Mustafa and all the staff were great and really helpful; Mustafa speaks perfect English and he's ready to help you with any kind of tour or transportation you may need. The hotel is small but cozy; maybe not so fancy but they provide all you really need... and well, Capadoccia is amazing, you won;t be in your hotel most of the time. Walking to Goreme 'downtown' is just 5 minutes.

Excellent Budget Hotel

We had a lovely stay at Guven Cave Hotel. The rooms are small, but nicely furnished, exceptionally clean, and ours had a private balcony. The bathroom is a standard budget bathroom (shower in the corner of the room, not separated from the toilet and sink area) and did not have a shower head, so it was basically a hose, but did the job. The room's cuteness is definitely enhanced by the arched ceilings, that help to give it the appropriate cave like feel. The breakfast was excellent (Turkish breakfast: tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, watermelon). They made us a fresh omlet, which was delicious, and had the most fantastic halva pasty. Mustafa, as well as the rest of the staff, were charming and very helpful in planning our activities. My only complaints would be that 1) the pillows are overstuffed and hard as rocks, making for a sore neck the next day, and 2) the doors are thin and we could hear everyone walking by or up and down the stairs. As a light sleeper, that was a bit rough for me. It might be helpful to request a room away from the stairs. Overall, a wonderful value and very pleasant stay.

This is a good hotel if you are on a budget.

The room was clean, but the shower was basically a hose coming out of the wall. There was no way of avoiding getting everything wet in the bathroom because there was not a proper stall. Mustafa was extremely helpful, he helped secure a tour and gave me a lot of helpful advise. His partner was not as helpful, and would constantly make me wait to take care of a simple request, while he does something that could wait. I would recommend this hotel only if you can get at a good price. This is a budget hotel.

A Wonderful Experience

Mustafa and Jihan made us feel welcome from the start. Our flight was into Cappadocia was cancelled, and Mustafa tracked down our new flight (to a different airport) and made sure the shuttle picked us up. He gave great recommendations for activities for our four days there, and was able to get us discounts in some cases. When we had a small complaint about one of the tours, he immediately called the company. Even though he was quite sick that week, he made sure to come in every day to check on us. Jihan, his assistant, always had a ready smile and cup of hot tea for us. I learned a great deal about Turkey from our many conversations with him. The hotel is located very close to the center of Goreme and is in easy walking distance of many sights and the bus station. The arch rooms are a little small, but charming, and the dining room is always open if you need more space or want to talk to others. Mustafa and Jihan made Cappadocia one of my new favorite travel destinations.

oteli işleten kişiler çok tatlı insanlar. gayet ilgililer. bizim kaldığımız oda ortak kullanımlı bir banyoya sahipti. ama otelin diğer odalarında banyo mevcuttu. temizliği iyiydi. wifi si de mevcuttu. Kahvaltı çok güzeldi. Terası küçük ama çok tatlı. Otoparkı malaesef yoktu, gece geldiğimizde park yeri bulmak biraz zorladı bizi. Bir de bizim kaldığımız odada da tv yoktu. bir tavsiye olarak odalara tv koyulabilir diye düşündük. onun dışında biz gayet memnun kaldık.

Je ne recommande en rien cet établissement. Vous y retrouverez des gens très caractériel qui ne respect pas les femmes. Ils ont intimidés verbalement mes amies lors d'un voyage en Cappadoce. Je vous recommande de ne pas faire ce choix d’hôtel. Vous devez garantir votre bonheur lors de vos prochaines vacances.

Siamo rimasti tre giorni ed abbiamo apprezzato la cortesia e la professionalità del gestore che ci ha offerto aiuto per organizzare le nostre attività. * the shared bathrooms are very clean * staffs are friendly * we choose a 3-people room but the room is basically full with three beds and quite narrow. I would suggest to choose another room types if you have lots of luggages.

El hotel es sencillo. Me encontré con la sorpresa que La habitación que reservé era con baño COMPARTIDO, cosa que desconocía y que no reservo NUNCA así. Cuando hago el reclamo miro la reserva y la parte que dice que la habitación es con baño compartido está en INGLES...es una muy mala intención poner una aclaración en inglés cuando la pågina está en ESPAÑOL. ME QUEDÉ UNA NOCHE Y ME FUÍ.

Querida Alicia, Lamento profundamente que sus expectativas no se hayan cumplido durante su estancia. Lamentamos la habitación, pero no es nuestro error. Hotels.com claramente escribe que el nombre de la habitación es '' Triple Cave Room Shared bathroom '' también si lees información sobre la habitación, puedes ver claramente que la habitación no tiene baño privado. Incluso usted tenía una copia impresa que está escribiendo allí, la habitación no tiene baño privado en inglés. Tratamos de informarle, pero hay una falta de comunicación debido al idioma. Justo abajo, copié la descripción de la habitación de la página de hotels.com que recibes. Cuando estuvo aquí, todas nuestras habitaciones privadas estaban llenas, incluso si pudiéramos mejorar la habitación sin cargo alguno. Habitación de la página de hotels.com. Internet: wifi gratis. Descanso: cortinas opacas. Cuarto de baño: baño privado independiente con ducha, zapatillas y artículos de higiene personal gratuitos. Comodidades: servicio de limpieza diario. Wonderful view, we watched balloons from terrace just above us. Very friendly, nice personnel. We had really nice rest here. Clean room, good silent location, very nice breakfast.

Güven Cave Hotel

Goedkoop, gastvriendelijk. De kamer was net, maar er hing een enorm muffe geur die uit de kleine badkamer kwam. Dit was verschrikkelijk onaangenaam. Ontbijt was basic, maar ook hier weer hing een kwalijke geur die de eetlust niet te goede kwam. Mooi zicht uit de kamers en goed gelegen wel.
