This is an older hotel on a small hilly site. If you don't like stairs walking up to the hotel, then this may not be a hotel to stay since the stairs are very steep. The breakfast is all you can eat but you have to order from a limited menu. We had a two bedroom room which only one small bathroom with a single sink.

An old hotel but very well-maintained. This hotel is historic and very pretty. Service is excellent. The only issue is the rooms are close to the main road. Occasionally some trucks or motorcycles pass-by noise is a little loud in the evening.

Road noise was loud and constant. Motorcycles all seemed to have removed their mufflers to make them louder. Sounded like a motocross race was going on.

Very nostalgic feel about. Colonial decor, food afternoon tea and dinner. All the staffs are extremely courteous. Gave us a relaxed ambiance Would recommend it. Would come again

Thought to have a very relax family trip, but end up it was so noisy especially in night time. The resort , located too near to the main road and the noise at night whenever there was vehicle passing by, being lorry, cars or motorbikes, is really nightmare. You cant even had a moment to sleep well. My 2 nights stay was really nightmare.

A beautiful destination
A beautiful place to relax and chill out. Staff extremely accommodating. If you love nature and a cool climate, this is the place to be. Pianist to while away time while you read, have a drink or enjoy a beautiful afternoon tea. Regarding meals it would have been nice to have a mix of local and western food on the dinner menu.

Great property, location, but mainly the service attitude of all staff. Being coeliac, they went the extra mile with GF breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. We even got a travel food pack. Can't rate them high enough.

A wonderful and convenient location, somewhere in between Tanah Rata and Brinchang. A beautiful colonial look as if transferred back into time. Spacious room but may require better sound proofing. Overall excellent!

Warm and friendly staff. Property grounds were beautiful and maintained its original old world charm with modern amenities. Breakfast options were great and food was good quality. Same goes for lunch and dinner. Spacious room and very comfy! Loved my stay!!!

Excellent service from the service staff especially at the breakfast restaurant. The downside is that if you are a light sleeper, please consider elsewhere as the traffic from road really affected my sleep. It’s a beautiful hotel but a good night sleep is really important from leisure stay.

Very nice hotel, staff well trained. Read some reviews before and CANNOT confirm rooms on the road side to be loud. They are normal loud. Very nice room with 2 bedrooms.

Mixed feelings
The hotel left me with a mixed feelings. There are some really good things and some real issues. The common areas are all very nicely finished and there is a wow factor on entry. The service from the staff varies from excellent to appalling and there seems to be nothing in between. The furniture in the rooms are in good condition, the mattress comfy and linen clean and crisp. However, the bathroom requires some love, with the wooden skirtings rotted, fan sounds like a jet plane and toilets are stained. The water is rarely hot and showers are fresh but not unbearable. The other bug bear is no curtains, just privacy nets. The main issue is access. The hotel is located on a busy road and from 7:30 am through to 10:30 pm the road is filled with cars and bikes. The noise from the road carries loud into the room and it can be a challenge to exit the premises as people don’t let you out. There is also very limited parking on site and you have to get creative. The hotel is not particularly accessible for those with mobility restrictions as there are steep stairs to the entry and there are no elevators inside.

As our resort is located in the middle of Brinchang and Tanah Rata which is all leading to the main attractions in Cameron Highlands. We do put efforts in installing double-glazed windows to reduce the road noise from the main road. As of the steep steps and no elevators, we try to remain and restore the old building structure as much as we could and only do modification by a little.
