"Stayed for a couple nights, booked a King bedroom. Clean, modern room but a bit small with an unusual bathroom layout. No mirror in front of sink, so had to use the portable vanity mirror to see while brushing or flossing. The front desk was all very helpful and friendly. Located across a park, just outside Melbourne CBD, so it felt spacious leaving the hotel. Also very close to trams and transit, though we didn’t use because we mostly walked to everything."

"Apartment was very spacious with a large living room and separate bedroom. Excellent shower/bathroom and decent (but basic) kitchen facilities. We had a 10-night stay visiting family nearby and it was ideal, close to shops, trams, trains, and was quiet and safe "

"The breakfast and staff are always lovely. This was our second time staying and the room we had on the 4th floor was not great for sleeping in - unfortunately the surrounding venues/hotels had music playing until 3.30am that could be heard in our room (next time ear plugs are a must being a light sleeper). Also disappointingly the pool heater was not as good as last year - it felt cool to touch whereas last year it was warm.. just the little extras that make a hotel excellent."

"Perfekte Lage in Melbourne. Sehr stylisches Boutique Hotel - vielleicht etwas zu sehr… Super sind die großen Zimmer und Russell, der Hotelhund. Die ständige Musikbeschallung traf nicht unserem Geschmack und es könnte etwas mehr Licht - vor allem Bad (beleuchteter Kosmetikspiegel wäre super) - geben. Trotzdem können wir das Hotel empfehlen, auch das Hotelrestaurant!"

"Great Hotel in a really good location. Close to shops, restaurants and the CBD. The rooms are generous and very clean. Fantastic modern bathroom, dual shower heads, beautiful fluffy towels and super strong water pressure. Perfect darkness when the blinds were drawn and it's very quiet. Pillows are a bit 'funky' so when you are asked whether you want a standard pillow say yes to be on the safe side. Complimentary water on the bedside table was a nice touch. Not particularly expensive when...

"Staff were helpful, room okay did not request king bed asked for a double booking made through Expedia. Room right near the lift which I know someone has to have but not ideal. Had a small meal prior to 6 pm at the Collins restaurant which was fine, breakfast arrived 8.30 am seated quickly staff were good. The Meal which we had small spoon of baked beans, mushrooms, scrambled egg, bacon were nearly cold only hot item was the hash brown. Two coffees to follow were good, staff was very good. ...

"The hotel is in a great location and the room itself was decent. However, I was disappointed with the noise insulation. The hotel advertises noise cancellation/soundproof rooms, but you can hear almost everything from outside and nearby rooms. There was also a very loud bin truck noise around 6AM which made it difficult to sleep. Overall, the stay was okay, but the noise level did not match what was advertised."
