"At check out we had small issue about the parking and Sema was wonderful to, helped us to the car, gave us tips on getting around and was a delight! Everyone was nice and friendly but she was exceptional. Only negative I had was no orange juice at breakfast. Was empty and it was not refilled. Minor complaint."

"A very pleasant stay at “The Carps”.
Very pleasant, helpful, friendly staff.
The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed and roomy shower room.
The room layout reflects the history of the property with a couple of shallow steps between the bedroom and shower.
We stayed for dinner and were rewarded by a tasty meal. A good selection of vegetarian options. Our usual habit of swapping plates half though very much went by the board.
Breakfast was very good with both millennial and traditional...

"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard.
There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding.
The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor.

"We found this room disappointing and not worth the price of the room. It was very dark, not particularly clean and very basic. I would say the bathroom is fine! We did request another room, however we were asked to pay more to move. The breakfast wasn’t great, and we both left the majority of the hot food. I would put it on par with a travelodge.
