"Great modern hotel in central Birmingham. Has a small spa on site which you can use at a discounted rate as a guest. Was surprised to see there wasn’t a pool there but other facilities you can use. You can’t prebook the spa which is a shame, only hope there’s availability on the day. We had an issue with the drainage in our room, however once notified, staff were efficient at relocating and upgrading us for the inconvenience. I found staff to be very polite and attentive. "The hotel is situated just outside the Mail box and overlooks the canal network in the heart of Birmingham. Excellent location and handy car park. Lots of bars, shops and restaurants within a pleasant stroll. The hotel itself is quite minimalist but has a bar, coffee area and breakfast restaurant. Emma on reception check in was great - she afforded me a room upgrade per my Expedia VIP booking - this doesn't happen very often. Staff are friendly and the room is well appointed. A consistent approach which was well received."

"Great welcome and easy guide through the services available during the stay. Apartment equipped with all you would need for a short visit. Sofa bed was very comfortable and easy to bring out and put away. Probably one of the calmest places I've stayed in. Great location for easy access to the city. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"Apartment was spacious, but very shabby. It needs to be re-painted! Rooms were comfortable It is a convenient distance from the coach station and the shopping area, but the area is very rough, and didn't always feel safe. It was also very noisy outside at night - lots of people yelling in the streets just outside of the building. Rooms were comfortable"

"The property is quirky and has a boutique feel in a very attractive building. However the room was not well maintained with a cracked pane of glass in the window, grubby corners, badly marked paintwork. Having booked the room online and seen it - I was not advised that the room was in the attic, and that there were 2 flights of stairs to access it. the second one being very steep and narrow. If I had been given this information I would not have booked this room. The parking was good and well...

"I always stay here for Birmingham Pride and once again, the hotel is lovely and clean and staff are super helpful. There’s also a little play area in reception which my daughter loved. We will be back!"

"Hotel staff were great and very helpful when approached. Only down side was that some of the electrical switches and plugs were showing their age. The bed side light did not work and there was only one free socket in the room. The bar area was very nice and great for a chill out. Overall good hotel for the value."
