"My husband recently stayed here. He had a coughing fit due to something with the pillow, and needed to go down to the front desk to ask for a change, he did not get the warmest reception for this request. Also, he said there was a lot of road noise, due partly to the fact that the window did not close all the way. He tried to speak to a manager but was told they were unavailable. "We never seen anyone other than a strange old man sitting in a room off the kitchen who didn’t speak.Honest review of someone who loves B&Bs and the charm.
Pros-Before arrival the host was very tentative with answering questions. Such as we needed an iron but they had a steamer (big plus). They had snacks and drinks to grab headed out the door. The house was very clean no cob webs or dust in sight!!

"Room was clean. The bathtub appeared to be newer, but there wasn't a rubber mat, nor anything stuck to the bottom of the tub to keep people from slipping, sliding and falling. I fell once while trying to bend over to get the soap for washing and then again while I was hanging onto the handicap bar and trying to turn around to get rinsed off. We put a towel on the tub floor to keep from slipping. I informed the front desk when I checked out."

"The temperature in the room never went below 71, despite a complaint and attempted remediation from the staff. The fam the staff delivered to the room
Was much appreciated, however it was v dirty. It was impossible to stay in the room without using the fan and that triggered difficulty in breathing for all the next day."

"We checked in and one of the beds was not clean. We had to request new sheets and pillowcases because there was hair all over the pillow and bed. The other bed was clean. They comped our parking for the inconvience of the dirty bed. I went to check out and it hadn’t been taken off. There was no note left about it but I had the text message to prove it. The front desk wouldn’t remove the charges until I told her I wasn’t leaving without it being taken off.
It wasn’t the greatest experience but...
