"The hotel is conveniently located where food/eatery/gas are just nearby/walkable. Staffs were very friendly. Room was clean & spacious. We were at level 2, no lift but okay to carry up our bags. We love the breakfast, simple yet delicious; daily options vary from sausages, bacon, waffles DIY, hash browns they were cooked so well, one of the best ^^ at the reception area too they provided coffee, tea, apples & cookies (love em’ so much!). Overall pleased with the stay, will definitely come back...

"Comfortable stay, firewood was complimentary and we enjoyed that very much. At times it was difficult to control the heat with the heater but it just took some time to adjust. The room was incredibly clean and cozy!"

"The room was very nice, well maintained. A little cool in the morning as the heat did not work. The restaurant was terrible. Ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, it was as hard as a rock, I could not eat it. Breakfast was not much better. I broke a tooth eating the bacon."

"Room and property was maintained. Couple things that would have been nice: either microwave in the rooms or shared lounge area. Wished there was more sound proofing in the walls. We were in the first floor and could hear TV the next door neighbor. We could hear upstairs neighbors walking and kids running and stomping. This was not pleasant and probably deterred us from returning."

"We just returned from a 7 night stay at the buffalo mountain lodge. We loved it. The staff is top notch and down to earth folks. Everyone treated us with respect and a friendly smile. The room was very comfortable and clea. We will definitely stay on out next visit."

"After a day of traveling we arrived earlier than the check-in. While the room was not ready yet the staff gave us a call to let us know when it was (a couple of hours early let us get refreshed). Our room was clean and the view was every bit worth it. The beds however appear to have something under the sheets that felt a little weird every time we moved our positions (most likely some kind of mattress protection). We had our own car which allowed us a little more freedom to check out the area....

"The Moxy is a very unique property and may not be for everyone, but these two ‘Boomers’ really enjoyed it. The queen double room is well thought out, spacious and comfortable. The staff was terrific! Ohla spent a lot of time getting us acclimated and answered our many questions about the hotel and Banff.
