“Kuta - J Noutique Hotel, A liesure lovers paradise”

A great hotel with great associates to take care of you. I had a wonderful stay as the associates were very courteous. They upgraded me as my first room allocated was without any windows. They took my feedback instantly and upgraded me to a room where there were windows. Had a good time at the hotel.

“A great choice”

The hotel was very nicely decorated with a lovely spacious foyer, a good roof top swimming pool and good size bar and dining area. It was very clean and comfortable. There was lots of ongoing but unobtrusive maintenance. The staff and service was excellent - very warm and friendly and very responsive to any requests. All of the staff were very attentive and helpful. The location provided plenty of choice of restaurants located nearby and the beach was a 5 minute walk away. The main swimming beach at Kuta was a half hour pleasant walk along the beach or through the main street and the vast array of shops. This is a traditional 'hotel' and not a resort so don't expect the latter. And if you want a room with an outside window it would pay to request this - otherwise you may get in internal room which is fine for a night ot two but not for a longer stay. Small suggestions for improvement would be to locate the hanger rack in the wardrobe at a lower height and likewise the safe so they can be reached comfortably by those of us who are not tall. Tone down the volume of the music at the pool - especially pre 2pm - for those of us looking for a peaceful read rather than very loud noise early in the day - and please don't encourage people to get 'wasted' in your pool party advertising - especially given that the rest of the hotel experience was very tasteful.

“Great Hotel if you just want to relax...”

Very clean Hotel... Staff very nice... Courtesy car to Kuta Square...To far out from the main drag and resteraunts... But would recomend to stay there if this doesn't phase you...

“Cheap and very cheerful”

The hotel was around only 3.5 stars but what makes the stay worth going back for was the staff. They were genuinely friendly without a hint of that false "have a nice day" regurgitated at most hotels. The rooms were clean and well presented but the bed was pretty ordinary as was the breakfast (I hate luke warm everything) but there are plenty of cheap local options for a few dollars so not an issue really. The bar out the front in great for an afternoon bintang and once again the bar staff were really hospitable.

“Happy 10 days”

We Booked for Christmas holiday at the last moment so we were happy to find the J Boutique Hotel.... we booked the last room, We found it quit comfortable though to start with we were put in a room with the view of a brick wall, very depressing but we were quick to complain as it was very clostrafobic !!! We were then put in a lovely room looking out onto the street.....The staff were great...Not really happy with having to pay $60 each for New Years Eve dinner as it was very basic, but we ate and went out very quickly ...overall experience was fine, but I prefer staying in a more relaxed open setting with gardens and pool setting ......so no more last minute bookings in the school holidays .....

“As expected”

The hotel was beautifully designed and really attractive. The staff were super friendly and smiled every time they saw us. They asked us if we wanted our room cleaned even when we didn't have the "please clean room sign" on our door handle. The meals were a bit small (but still tasty) compared to the rest of Kuta's restaurants, but I expected this because it was one of the finer dining restaurants. Breakfast seemed to be the same every day with minor differences, which wasn't a problem for us because we missed it 5 out of 8 days (due to our late nights because EVERYTHING is open late). The rooms were as expected but the bathroom was a bit small for my liking. Locality wise it was a bit far, closer to the edge of Kuta, this made getting too and from Kuta central and Legian beach about a 20 minute walk if you were strolling or a 4 minute taxi ride (or 10 minutes with hectic traffic) for about 15,000 rupiah maximum depending on the taxi driver (about one dollar 50 cents or something similar). This made it ideal for business travellers due to being close to the airport. The rooftop pool was as I expected and the spa was amazing, we felt so relaxed afterwards. All round it was well worth it, however next time I visit Kuta I will probably go to a hotel located closer to the main area so at night time the hotel is walking distance instead of taking a taxi.

“Satisfied”

Very clean. Was only in Bali for a short trip and was satisfied with the service provided by j.boutique. They even hooked us up with an amazing driver KETUT. Not to mention the amazing prices of the rooms. Only downfall would be the lack in range of the breakfast buffet. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you want budget clean comfortable rooms.

“not impressed at all”

this 4-star hotel should be rate a 2.5-star. Our room temperature couldn't go below 25 degree C during daytime. we had to set the air-conditioner to the lowest setting and still didn't need the blanket overnight. The shower head was partially blocked (calcified?) and the water pressure was consistantly low. Switching on/off lights in the room was unexpectedly troublesome because each light was connected to its own power outlet and there's no central control for anything. the entire hotel feels more like an apartment complex than a hotel, i.e. non-carpeted, non-air-conditioned corridor/lobby.
