The owners were extremely helpful and we as a family truly enjoyed our stay. The lemon tree outside had plenty of lemons, we made fresh lemonade! They had luggage storage before the check in. The apartment was well equipped with all necessities! Location of the property is walkable to the main attractions. We visited the local weekly farmer’s market We will stay here again on our next visit.

Nice little place
Lovely little apartment! Can’t go wrong for the price. Only minor issues I had were the shower temperature suddenly going scalding hot then cold, and the walls are quite thin so you can hear any noise from neighbouring apartments.

Emilio and his brother are owners and are very warm people. We felt so welcomed during check-in. Emilio provided us very detailed info of local sightseeing and food, and he was so patient and proactive. We stayed here one night. It is a quiet nice place and walkable to many attractions which is super convenient. One of the nicest things that they accommodated our check-in and check-out time. We were able to leave our luggage with them and enjoy the entire day luggage-free after check-out. They are just such nice and considerate people. I highly recommend this place and wonderful owner to everyone.

Location is perfect to walk to all the attractions in the city but away from the busy city roads. Apartment was very clean and wifi worked great. Owner was very friendly and helpful with suggestions on attractions and dining. Would stay here again when back in Athens!

From the time I booked this property communication was an AMAZING experience!!! The brothers that own these apartments are beautiful souls. They were professional, friendly, and informative from the start. Their assistance with our airport transfers was phenomenal! Any time I reached out to them even prior to arriving from the States I received a response immediately. They offered information on how to get around, where to eat, and things to do. The restaurants they recommended were a 10 out of 10!!! We visited 2 of them. We requested a late check out and they were able to accommodate my family and me. The hotel/apartments were located near everything. There is a back way to go through the gardens and see the stadium. The opposite direction is to the main road where there are restaurants and stores. Excellent restaurants within a 7-10 minute walk. Many bakeries within a 5 minute walk. Syntagma train station is about a 15 minute walk. There is graffiti in the area which may make some people nervous but the neighborhood is quiet and seemed quite safe. We walked around late night with no worries. Don’t think twice about booking Athens Green Apartments! Just do it. You won’t regret it.

Our apartment was clean, instructions to get in we’re good. They arranged transfers to and from the airport. There was a list of recommendations around the area which was useful. There’s a nice outdoor area also. We stayed one night and it was good for what we needed. Only downside was, although there were 2 very comfy king size beds…there was no physical door separating the areas, only a curtain. But room was big.

Amazing stay! Best communication with the property managers/owners that I’ve ever experienced! They replied so quickly on all our questions, arranged transportation, provided very useful and helpful tips upon arrival such as the must to do in the area, best restaurants, etc. The apartment was clean, very comfortable (even the sofa bed!!) and well equipped! The little balcony and garden is so cute as well! We absolutely recommend this place!!!

Located in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of all the tourist attractions. Turn right to head into the tourist zone or turn left to a nice assortments of restaurants, shops, with a quiet local neighborhood feel. The rooms were clean comfortable. The staff was amazingly welcoming, helpful and hospitable. Great place to stay. Highly recommended.

Excellent communication with the host during our booking, stay and even after checkout. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The area around the apartment seemed questionable at first with the graffiti on the walls of surrounding buildings, but ended up be okay and safe. Also, the apartment is a little further of a walk to the Parthenon then we expected, but not too bad. We appreciated the extra room we had in the apartment and the overall cleanliness.

I’m a solo traveler so this place was perfect for me. Only stayed 1 night but wish I could have stayed longer. It is off the beaten path but you’re about 15 minutes from metro, and about 25 from city center by foot. But aside from location (hence the price), everything else with the place was great. It was a very nice and cozy apartment building, which was very well managed. They have very beautiful decorations (artist owners and staff) in the hotel. The hotel is close to Acropolis of Athens, Plaka, etc. but in a less busy residential area. Many restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops are near the hotel. I will definitely stay in this hotel for my next visit to Athens.

Great property, apartment was good considering the price and the team were really friendly. The internet is terrible (but from our experience this is basically Athens in general) this wouldn't have been an issue except the phone signal is poor inside. Otherwise a great place to stay, would definitely go back!

Wonderful place in the heart of the city, but tucked away from the crowds just enough for some peace and quiet. Beautiful outdoor courtyard to have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Really friendly and helpful host... Couldn't ask for more!

This is a great place to stay when visiting Athens. We liked the apartment and the location. It's within walking distance to Acropolis, museums, many historical sites, some excellent restaurants frequented by locals, and a grocery store. While parking space seemed plenty, we actually didn't need a car. Calling taxi using Uber app was easy and inexpensive. Emilio at the front desk was also very helpful.

A hidden Gem in the middle of Athens.
Beautiful well designed room, Extremely clean. I read reviews before I booked this room and found nothing more than good reviews. The place is extremely clean and tasteful re designed. Location is super centric as you can walk to public transportation and all the main attractions. if you are looking for a clean centric location to go explore and return to rest at a very affordable price this is a perfect space. I will definitely stay here again.

My six-night stay at Athens Green couldn’t have been better. From the welcoming e-mail confirmation to every aspect of the accommodation, everything exceeded my expectations for this budget price point. I stayed in the Purple Heart room, which was modern, with effective HVAC, a small kitchen with all the necessities, a dressing area with sink, and a full modern bathroom with walk-in shower. However, above all else my stay was excellent thanks to Emilios and Kosmas, the two brothers who manage the property, and who went out of their way on every occasion to assure I had an excellent experience. Amazing place!
These apartments are amazing. Everything you need to make it yours for the days you are traveling. I actually stayed in two different one and equally great. All are equipped with fridge, french press, dishes, small stove, electric kettle, bathroom accessories, hairdryer, soap/shampoo, and wifi. The beds are comfortable. Location near downtown Athens with just a short walk. Close by to great restaurants and groceries. Quiet evening area so easy to sleep. Close to the Olympics/panathenaic stadium. Ability to use free washer and dryer too! Nice outdoor seating! Secure entrance for the solo traveler which is great!

The website pictures were extremely misleading. It is very small, with the bathroom being in some sort of catacombs, with not enough hot water despite the water tank heating at full blast the evening we arrive. Also, because all rooms lead to a small central meeting area, it got noisy when a few people were there. Add the cockroach under the bed, the smell of urine right outside the room and you have a place you should avoid.

The hotel is an aBnB. The staff was very pleasant, helpful. The studio apartment is suited for traveler on a budget. It has small cooking facility. Locate on a one way street. Near restaurants, national garden, Olympic stadium, walking distance to parliament.

Fantastic!
Clean, comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We arrived at 1am in the morning and Maria was still there to do our check in even though we had already received all the easy step by step self check in instructions. What makes this place fantastic beside the decor, greenery is Maria who works at the reception. She is extremely nice and helpful. Since we were arriving late in the evening, we took the X95 bus from the airport that drops you at Syntagma square. 1 hour ride..and then we walked to Athens Green Apartments....took us about 15 minutes.

Five star staff
Wonderful, wonderful people who cannot be praised highly enough. We had a great stay thanks to Maria and the rest of the team. It was a memorable time thanks to the staff- Greek music, wines and a barbecue with hotel staff, their families and friends made this very special. (Not sure if everyone gets this treatment, we just connected so well). The location is terrific - Local bakeries, restaurants and shops plus an easy walk to the old town and Acropolis. Loved it all mixing with some many nationalities. Thanks Green Apartments!! Tip: the rooms vary a lot. Some are very big and some quite small so maybe you need to ask.
