We were welcomed by a lovely member of staff who showed us to our room and gave us a full explanation of all the facilities including how to use the coffee machine. Room was spotless and quiet. "Fabulous location, we loved the view of the marina. It was an ideal place to travel to Lancaster where our uni son lives, and up into the Lake District. "Absolutely awful experience. The property was falsely advertised as having a gym and spa on site – neither of which exist. To make matters worse, the CO2 alarms went off at around 5:30am, which was extremely alarming. When we contacted maintenance, they “fixed” the issue by breaking the alarms just to silence them.
