"Very good location and helpful staff"
The hotel is well located. Some good restaurants around, theaters within walking distance, Tube nearby. The facilities are basic but clean and functional. Bathroom had been renovated. The staff is multilingual, very helpful, and welcoming. The elevator would need refurbishment.

"Nice hotel close to numerous transport links."
Excellent place to stay. Our room on the 4th floor was very comfortable and the facilities were also very good. The complimentary breakfast provided each morning was good and there was plenty of options to choose from. Being close to Waterloo Station and Southwark and Lambeth North Underground Stations made it an ideal base to explore London and its environs

"Excellent location and pub"
This was the one time where the reviews and the photos were good and still did not do the venue justice. We loved the pub downstairs (food, drink selection, and service were all excellent). The room was spacious and comfortable. The underground was about 2 and half blocks away so we could easily go to all of the major city sights we wanted to see, but we really enjoyed coming back to the hotel to relax in the evenings.

"Modern hotel"
We enjoyed our stay at the Ibis. It was a great location - we walked to the hotel along the river from Blackfriars Station. The room was nicely decorated and breakfast was great - especially the pastries. Dinner at Pizza Express (on the riverfront) just down from Southwark Bridge - highly recommended - tasty well priced pizza and a view of St Pauls

"Will use again."
Good value for money and location, short walk from Elephant & Castle and about 20 min walk from Waterloo and 15-20 min walk to London Bridge. Room was small, but I only booked a single at the last minute. I imagine there are other good sized rooms both single and double. Complimentary fruit and bottle of water in room. Brekky a simple cereal, toast and egg. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thanks.

"Excellent staff and location"
We had booked the hotel from the Monday to the thurs as we had an invite to go to the garden party at Buckingham palace. While some complain about the train noise it was not something that bothered us. That’s with the both windows open as it was boiling over the few days we were there. It was the hottest few days of the year so far. The stairs will keep you fit if you’re on a high floor lol but not a problem even for my wife who has angina you just take your time. The staff are fantastic they can’t do enough for you I did notice a few awkward customers talk to them like dirt over silly little things like having black pudding as an item on breakfast and not hash browns. NO need to treat staff like that, the girls work hard. Had a few problems with the key card when we arrived just one of them things and as I say it was a hot day. One of the girls kept coming up and down the stairs till she sorted it out. Poor girl was shattered. The room was great with a lot of little extras you don’t get in many other hotels. There is a bit of work going on at the moment but nothing to get in your way as they improve the hotel. Breakfast was great again cant believe it was free big selling point for us on a budget. Also wifi was free very handy with other hotels charging over £6 a day.

"Great for the price, very practical."
Excellent little hotel with tidy and pragmatic facilities. Was just staying overnight before a conference but did the job very well - bed was comfy, check in & out was swift, worked very well.
